last question: is the spice thing a gimmick or is that a legit aspect of cheese steak stuff? we did not have a cheese steak thing in memphis unless you want to count lolsteakescape, so a lot of the options are somewhat new to me. i mean to ask, has it evolved into a common set of options elsewhere, or is this pretty much just here?

But to be on topic, I have never had a GOOD cheese steak sandwich . Chicago believes it is king of all foods, but in reality our pizza tastes like the pizza in California, our hot dogs taste like the hot dogs in Indiana, and our cheese steak sandwiches taste like shit .

Firehouse Subs does a much better job, and they at least have the balls to admit it's not a true cheesesteak.
