How do you make seperate lines (like two words top and bottom) in a cell?

    Example:

    Dynamis Xarcabard |
    Dynamis Tavnazia |

    (But one cell)

F2 then Ctrl+A should do select all within that one cell

I know Ctrl+enter while editing a field will create the line break you're looking for

Edit: there is a shortcut button (format painter (paste)) that you can use to repeat a certain color/format(font and number.) Just choose the cell and click on format painter, then click on as many cells as you like when you click+drag the mouse. If you want different colors that aren't there, then you'll have to select them.

Try playing with your settings to get rid of the autofill... I found it helpful with repetitive fields in databases, but gets annoying when you make many unique cells.

Hmm, when I do F2 it does open the cell. But when I hit CTRL+A nothing happens. It doesn't even select that whole cell like you said it should >.>

I recall it working well in excel 2000 when I tried it a few summers ago, but try to double click within the field to highlight a line

sweet :< Most of the keyboard shortcuts are very similar though in openoffice and excel, but its possible to customize them too so I might have gotten it a little mixed up, but close enough lol ><

copypasta from microsoft to turn off the autocomplete:

    1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Edit tab.
    2. To allow automatic completion, click to select the Enable AutoComplete for cell values check box. To prevent automatic completion, click to clear the check box.

Hmm, when I try to double click the field it does highlight a section of whatever is in the cell. But not the whole cell

Also the directions you posted from Microsoft worked for the autocomplete issue I was having, thanks!

np :D. I guess the best you can do is press Ctrl+Shift at the start of a word and then use arrow key (left or right) to highlight entire words (separated by commas/spaces/etc)
