NK doesn't understand the concept of "Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far" enough.There is a smarter way to make friends and garner positive support from your citizens peacefully (hi2ueconomics.) North Korea (in terms of international relations) is like the unwanted newborn dropped off in a dumpster or the red-haired stepchild desperately seeking attention and some kind of respect through scaremongering. Trying to sell these "tests" as displays of military might to their citizens (as already mentioned) is just disgusting, but their people seem too afraid to care. Maybe when their citizens are tired of the way NK is behaving, they will do something about it.
