BLU Job Quest - 10 Questions

I've checked the guide on Wiki and other places I can search for and I can't find a definite way or even concrete theory as to how to answer these 10 questions Waoud gives me ("What is Destiny?" etc.). I've failed about 20 times giving different answer sets so far. For someone who's extremely poor right now, giving away 20,000G to this guy is just killing me.

Does anyone have any ideas on this outside the Wiki's? The 'canned' answer choices on there do not work. The theory that it depends on your in game accomplishments hasn't either thus far. I do keep getting the answer with the "Skyserpent, spend time away from battle" though - I don't know if that is supposed to give me a clue.

Any advice or even just experiences with this would be appreciated.

I wish I could help, but I have no idea. I just picked answers that I thought sounded best to my tastes and was 1/1 on it. :\ In fact, I probably picked the answers that were least "like a BLU," the more nicey nice ones like "fall, and keep my humanity," "try to reason with him," "tend to his wounds," etc. etc. I don't even recall there being a guide to each individual question when I did the quest.

I'm not sure if it matters, but are you on presently on a 30+ job when you talk to him? Aside from that I'm really not sure how the best way to respond is.

What I was told when I did this was to "answer as if you were a wild animal with a sense of justice." Got it first time.

Just over 30 yes. Maybe I should try going to a lvl1 and answering all the 'cowardly' answers?

I swear when I did this I picked all the cowardly answers and was 1/1, but it was a long time ago

I believe it's just entirely random. I chose whatever I felt like choosing, and didn't follow a guide at all. Went 1/1 as well. Probably just bad luck.

I was actually given a guide when I did it. Don't remember where it was though; this was back when it was all released.

A BLU is completely loyal to the Empire/Empress, has to live a life of sacrifices and hardships and will lose his humanity sooner or later. When a BLU turns into a beast, it's the duty of his former comrades to end his life.
Sorry i can't help here, but the answers given in the wiki-guide are pretty much in the sense of what makes out a BLU in the storyline. When i did the quest i did chose some of them differently though (and it worked for me):
1. What is destiny? > One forges for oneself
5. Would you choose a tumultuous life where fame or fortune were attainable, or a tranquil life where both were forever beyond your reach? > A mix of both.
8. A loved one is afflicted with a terrible illness and has little time left to live. You are asked to end that life by your own hand. > Seek a cure
10. A superior to whom you owe a great debt orders you to act in a way that violates your sense of justice. > Try to remove him from power

I don't think I followed a guide myself, just got lucky with the answers and went 1/1 myself. I was not on a level 1 job at the time.

I went 1/1 on this the first time. I answered in the way I would have answered these if I were asked in real life. But, you basically have to answer the questions in a way someone who has the mind set of the greater good, the ends justify the means, and isn't a "moralfag". Though, my guess is that the game still checks to see how many points you have to determine if you get the quest or not.

Just answer like a total douche and you'll get it. I got it 1/1 with that little bit of advice.
