faild to send, (19)

ok i just did a search and can not find anything about it...
anyone know why i get failed to send. (19) when ever i try and send a mes in game? FFXI*

This is relevant to my interests as its been happening to me on one of my computers but not the other 2.

ya this only happens on one of my PCs, my laptop and 2 other PCs never have this. i can not find anything on this at all.(did a google too, all i got was the same thing "help!!!" followed by no answers.

i called a GM told me to call the help center, ill do that on monday if no one can give me a answer befor then.

It happened to me when my friendlist was full and tried to make one to another person. Just delete your messages (or people from your friendslist who are inactive if you are trying to send a friend request). I'm pretty sure messages are stored to your PC, not to your pol.

Sorry I didn't really clarify that well...It's kinda hard to explain. They are saved to your POL onto that single PC. You have to delete them through POL (on that PC). If you have anymore questions or if I just don't make much sense just ask and I'll try again to explain better lol...

i get it^^ sry the way i was reading it was that it downloads it to your PC. liek you could read them off of playonline.

Deleting all stored messages doesn't fix it, i was no where near the limit of 200 (I was at 20)

I'm not sure that this is the best way, but I reinstalled POL to fix that problem when I had it.

ill test it after i get back from class. (should i DL the one from playonline.com? or use my CD you think?)

I used my own disc, but this was on a Windows XP PC. If you're using Vista, you might be better off downloading from the site. I honestly don't know what the problem is that causes it, and I'm surprised it still occurs.

this only happened because my laptop crashed(getting it fixed ; ; )
so i had to pull up my old PC and start using it. its not bad and runs FFXI just fine(its window XP) but it sucks i cant talk with anyone from my F list(and i do a lot old friends from my old server)

Just reinstall POL only and it'll be fixed.

DLed the new playonline from playonline.com working fine

edit: had like 10min of updates but worth it... my befriend and mes are working again
