I missed Saturday nights ep![]()
If that's how it really happened, then yeah, pretty beastly. I'm not sure someone really would've gotten up as easily as he had, though.
Then again, if I had one gripe about the show, it was that neither side really had any aim except for like clutch situations where a sniper scope was involved.
they've never had any aim. all dmg/kills are done by explosives.
Or when shot from behind. That seem to have a 100% hit rating.
The aim thing wouldn't bother me so much if they were more mobile, but that part in the end were Duke and Scarlet were back to back had me facepalming as the camera panned around for like 15 seconds an no baddie landed a single shot.
Oh well, it's not like that isn't uncommon in Hollywood.
lol nice takes me back a few years @@ so only 11 episodes ................ ;;
The finale is up on Adultswim.com. As for what happens:
Spoiler: show
Yeah nothing guaranteed.
might be nostalgia talking, but cobra-la was better. this had better animation though.
It's actually both. It's a new series and a new universe based on a mix of previous "A Real American Hero" based universes. Not just the cartoon, but comics as well.
Sadly this was supposedly a one shot series, but if it gets a good response there's a chance more series like this might get made. Though a full length TV series might be somewhat far-fetched at this point, more web-based or DtV type releases may follow.
And the change with Dialtone is because in the current IDW comics reboot of G.I. Joe, he's a chick. Otherwise he's been the same guy for the past 25 years. And off the top of my head the only two Medics the joes really had were Doc and Lifeline. Unless things were different in the marvel comics, there's only one Doc and though Lifeline had his real name changed, it was still pretty much the same guy.
It's nostalgia. Cobra-la is like a bad dream most Joe-fans try to forget.
And the battle cry....Cobra lalalalalalalalaalalalalala!
I was worried after Major Bludd and Zartan about the Baroness/Destro, before realizing that no one really knows who the previous two are (Major Bludd wasn't even in the second season of the original and makes a non-voiced cameo in the movie).
I'd watch this series in a heartbeat. It was so good.
It was weird seeing Zartan outside of the swamp. I always remember him being in dark murky places, also he had one of the cooler action figures w/ color changing skin and interchangeable faces. Bludd on the other hand I don't remember too much.
Bludd was one of the first Cobra villains from the first wave of the 3 3/4 line of joes. But other then that he was fairly generic in the show. He did have that cool robo arm though.
