As far as Melee goes.. It's Cast > HUmar, but HUmar have such a huge advantage since they do at least keep Resta and have Jellen/Zalure.

Then you've got your FOs that fire foie so hard out of their ass, and your general pew pew Rangers. D: HUmars were soooo OP in the DC though.

I played PSO probably around the worst years a kid should be obsessed with video games and back when I played, my HUmar was a beast having a 200 POW mag and legit weapons with sick percents. I'd rather use my HUmar with mechguns than any of the ranger types combined honestly.

My FOnewearl was broken too but that came more from having ridiculous knowledge of the dynamics of the game more than them actually being really strong besides having strong tier one spells. Beating Dark Falz around level 40 on VHard offline is testament to that (them having the lowest HP and probably the worst defense in the game).

I assume you meant just a straight up POW mag since you couldn't get 200 in one stat. Defense always starts at 5, and I believe it's almost impossible to go 5/0/195/0.. or around there anyway. That is unless you could magcell a mag to reset it's stats to all 0's, which I can't remember. I played BB on Schtack's server for about a week, got to 107, and got bored. D:

But yeah, gimme my HUmar with a fucking awesome Rati, a pair of Charge Vulcans with 50 hit and other %'s, and I'm sitting pretty. I know tons of HUmars use Mechs, but who cares? Best weapon for the class as is.

I found that defense on Falz doesn't matter as much since his physical slash of doom with his final form is a set damage which isn't dependent on defense at all. Stack the HP, and you're fine. Also, as long as you can survive one Grants, you're a-ok. FOnewearls were sick because of their crazy Shifta/Deband levels. Their caps are at 30, while the female classes are at 20, and other classes that get it are at 15. HUmars get shafted and dont' get it at all because honestly; if you gave a HUmar S/D at 15.. they wouldn't need anyone's help ever.

Anyway, I solo ULT on Offline mode when I get to Ult (at 80), and can go through the Caves pretty much okay until De Ral Le. I can kill him too, but it just takes for fucking ever. D:

Also, while I'd love to argue that PSO is completely balanced.. I guess I can't. HUmar are OP, FOnewearl/FOnewms are OP, HUcast, even without Resta are OP, and RAmar/ls are OP.

I installed PSO BB today and used the patch for windowed mode

But each time i open PSO by the program menu or any file from the program folder i get the error (PSO has stopped working blah blah)

Go to the BB folder, make a shortcut to online.exe, use that shortcut to open it.

anyway still doesnt change the fact that the game doesnt let me enter any characters (as of user id)

So I'm having a problem getting this up and running...

Earlier this evening i managed to get the download, item patch and my account all sorted. Got to the character creation screen but then decided to close it down and check out some stuff on the classes etc. Fast forward a few hours and I'm unable to even get to the character creation screen, I'm stuck on the maxtrixy loading screen after the patch check screen.
Decided to register on their forums to find a remedy but this comes up...

So what the hell is going on? =/ This (seemed) to be working fine earlier.

EDIT: Ok scrap the larger paragraph, left the screen going for 10 mins or so and found it's due to a busy server. However, I still get the banned message when trying to register for the forums, and now when i try to join a ship I'm also banned from those. So I can't play at all. Seriously... what the fuck?
