Installed the game...and then it blew my computer up. Would not boot into windows or anything. Fuck this shit. I wanted to play so badly. Formatting and reinstalling Windows now.

one of the mods made a post saying ppl have been randomly getting banned and they don't know why.

There seems to be a problem where a lot of users have been reporting being banned but not actually showing up on the ban list. I'm not sure what's causing the problem but anyone who is having issues with being banned for no reason, please report the problem to me or one of the admins with username, ISP, and IP address. We're trying to pinpoint if it's a problem with the server, or if it's something not working right on the user end.

There is a temporary fix by repeatedly trying to log in, eventually it should go through. It'll be the only way for users experiencing this problem to play until we can find out what's causing it. A couple other suggestions would be to make sure the ports needed for PSO aren't blocked by your firewall or restarting your router to refresh your IP. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Yeah. I'm glad rares are red instead of the plain colors.

Also, hover your cursor over the ability you want to put on the 1-0 toolbar and... hit the number you want to place it on, lol.

Wut? Just TTF in hard mode with a few other people, super easy to find public TTF games these days. Leveling is only obnoxious in the 75-80 stretch and the 180-200 stretch really.

i was soloing a lot till i realized there was no reason to. you know there are a lot of ppl on this private server, and they make a ton of ttf groups. just go to skyline and make your own (usually fills up within 5 mins or so) or join one that's being made. i did like 8 TTF hard modes last night to get lv.40, and in each one there was always a random lv.50+ person who was bored and joined for the hell of it

Is the server kind to complete newbies? I usually read up on these games before trying them to get a general idea, and I have a 2 day wait at most once I email the mod for an account, but no experience is no experience. I guess what I'm asking; is the game hard to pickup?

it has a bit of a steep learning curve if you have no idea at all what you're doing, but it doesn't take long to learn in itself. it's not a hard game.

Err, what are you talking about? Registration occurs instantly. Just head over to PSO-World if you want to learn about the game.

Wat. This game is not hard to level in. Go Solo in a One Person room. Shit's easy.

And the learning curve depend son classes. HUmar = grab a handgun/mechs/melee weapon and go pewpew/slash.
Ranger = pew pew pew > run away > resta if needed > pew pew pew.

Forces are a little tougher because you have to remember mobs' weaknesses and what not, but even that gets easy after a while.

Ult's the only challenging thing. Ult = Ultimate = last difficulty level. Jellen/Zalure are your best friends in higher difficulties when you actually take a good bit of damage from mobs.

I can't help but feel horribly gimped though, bunch of people MAYBE 5-10 levels over me with a mag that lets them use god level rare stuff for their level, I basically have no purpose lol >_>
