If +slow gear in your WS gear is still on for your next melee hit then your delay after WS to put your TP gear back on is probably too long.

That or you're timing your WS a split-second before your next melee hit or something.

There's no such thing as an inaccurate single-hit(melee) weapon skill.

I've had an Apoc for 5 month now and i've tried heca gear setups ect..,since switching to full attack setup including swordbelt +1 i've gotten the best results.I also use N.legs for ws 20 attc is nice ,i have Ares's legs but i preffer to use the heca for now i'm working on full set and im close to that goal .
Ill be switching to full Ares's for sure when i'm done cause you cant beat the dmg output
when double attack kicks in.
My advise to you is to worry more about full haste setup then ws dmg ,getting V.belt Homam legs +feet ,dusk gloves/homam hands ,Ace's Helm and if u have Ares's legs to get Spellcast and a xml that will maximise your gear sets.
Apoc drk imo is a dmg machine cause of the DOT,double march and away you go add 5/5 Desperate blows and LR capped ffect and recast and you'll be doing 100 fists every 4 minutes with a 103 dmg Scythe that can do tripple dmg.

Back in the day(before January 22nd, 2009, which i was banned :X) I used to have an Apoc. From what I can safely say is that it is the more powerful of the relics. I like power.

A haste build is absolutely essential, you will be amazed with the DoT this thing puts out. I used to test my E-peen out on Cerberus by trying to tank it on DRK/SAM...sadly it didn't work out very well lol.

Here is a run down of what my gear used to look like for TP:
Weapon: Apoc
Sub: Pole grip
Ammo: Fire bomblet
Head: Ace's Helm
Body: Adaman Hauberk
Hands: Dusk gloves +1
Legs: Homam Legs
Feet: Homam Feet
Waist: Speed Belt
Back: Cerb. Mantle +1

Not your average gear my no means, I mean I worked my LS (Exodus) like hell to be able to obtain all that gear. I still haven't got a 2nd Apoc to test more things out on my newly bought character yet...but once you've experienced Apoc that experience and knowledge sticks with your forever haha.

But anyways, looking at what you have, I'd have to say, listen to Tom, get a haste set up like V.belt homam, and all that stuff, then worry about WS gear, Catastrophe isn't all that great for damage, and you'll want to be able to reach 100TP as fast as possible. With Apoc you will be more likely the tank since your DMG output is godly. And what's the greatest thing about Apoc? It will cure you everytime you WS :D. Although it didn't help much when I was tanking Cerberus...but whatever haha.

Even with swapping in Onyx legs (which isn't the best idea, been there done that) you are still at 27%, you should swap Aurum feet over Homam for the extra att.

The only time I use homam feet over aurum is when I'm tanking HNM and might not always have the AM effect up or am using a different WS for SCing.

If you use spellcast you can set your leg gear to change to Ares's while aftermath is active,
when aftermath effect wears it will equip Homam on.As i said in my previous post you can maximise your Apoc drk with spellcast.
Also haste is your first priority and double attack is second so wherever u dont have haste you should have double attack.

The deal w/ cata w/ the ws animation combined w/ all the haste and what not, makes it so that you often have a hit of melee go off during the animation. Its just kinda how it goes, timing be damned.

Combined w/ the negligble bump in dmg from heca stuff and the fact that apoc is mostly gonna parse high due to being a DoT machine, is why I was wondering about maxing out melee swings by staying w/ haste.

I've been just switching out gorget/onyx legs as Taint mentioned above for awhile, going to work on more +atk stuff until if full ares ever comes about.

Damage is done at the beginning of the animation, or whenever you hit the WS... just change back into your tp gear after you hit it and you wont have to worry about swinging in Heca.

Robian again he only has 26% during Aftermath effect ,when it wears if u dont use spellcast with a Autoexec plugin and .xml for autoexec u cant reasonably switch gear manualy to just homam legs to get back to 19% haste ~~Wich will maximise your gear.
Obviously you are pc and Windower iliterate so stop acting like you know what you are talking about.

Unless you're talking about HNMs, in which case Haste and accuracy is the way to go just like with any other weapon in the game.
