    Shall We Dance?

I'm looking to low man this with as few as possible. I'm in need of a blau and not willing to pay the price for one.

Does anyone have any sort of strategy they could share with me? A nice detail'd strategy would be greatly appreciated.

Also, having a haste setup for Aspir and Drain will be helpful.

Just go in and time yourselves for opening AMII nukes, one BLM trageting Bladmall and the other targeting Parata.

Parata will be the hardest one to kite, since it runs constantly. It has that Paralyga and Poisonga move so antidotes can be usefull but not necessary. The BLM kiting Parata needs to run around the pillar (or middle island, w/e you want to call it), counter clockwise. Parata's running pattern will make it possible for the BLM to gain some distance in order to cast Bio, Drain, Aspir and other low cast time nukes. Throughout the fight, Parata will spawn 3x Nepimonic Parata (sp) and will go in its shell while the pet is out. One tier4 and one tier3 nukes will take care of each pet. Once the pet is dead, Parata does not come out of its shell right away, i.e. there is a window of opportunity to rest and regain MP. Once it starts running again, just rinse and repeat.

As for Bladmall, this one is really easy to kite. It constantly stops to cast AM spells and -ga spells. However, it will stop moving at exactly 19' from the kiter, wait a few seconds then start casting. With this pattern in mind, you can kite, then stop to cast nukes and get out of range afterwards even before Bladmall even starts casting. However, its good to keep Stoneskin and Blink on in case you get caught in a -gaIII spell or an AM spell. Bladmall will also spawn 3 Nepimonic Bladmall and those are the same deal. 1x tier4 and 1x tier3 nuke will take care of them.

Important: Keep dispelling its Shell IV and this one has to be kited AWAY from Parata since it has the ability to CureIV itself and Parata. I usually kite him in that path between the entrance of the BC and the middle area of the BC.

We never had to die and reraise in order to beat this BC but it certainly is an option. If you go for this one, make sure you kill Bladmall, the 3x Nepimonic Bladmalls and the 3x Nepimonic Paratas before you die. Once you reraise and go at it again, Parata will be very easy to duo.
This is a good piece of info but does anyone else have any other strategies to share? Perhaps one including a melee be it nin or mnk

    setup 1: MNK/NIN RDM/NIN healer

Rdm kites all mobs in a big loop, monk claims pet one by one and destroys them (6 pets max), then work on blademall, and finish with the last one. ~20min Ive got thf nin mnk sam, found mnk to be the best due to mobs sometimes having retarded TP move for 1k dmg..

    Setup2: RDM/NIN BLM/RDM

Rdm kite all mobs in a big circle and BLM snipe pets one by one. Then he soloes the blademall (easy since its a cating mob). Then finish the other guy.

Pets have less than 1k HP, an asuran fist or teir IV kill them almost.

I used to do this with a friend of mine. Set up was BLM/NIN and RDM/WHM. I was the BLM, friend obv was the RDM.

BLM would start the fight with a Freeze2 on Parata, then RDM would take Bladmall away with a Bio2. BLM kites Parata around the big rock and using the spine on the one side to do occasional drains/aspirs for damage. Kill babies as they spawn out. I think it took a Tier4 and something else to kill a baby. Rest/Aspir as allowed. RDM would be soloing Bladmalls babies as well as possibly refreshing the BLM. Once all the babies are down the RDM can help kill Parata and then finish off Bladmall. Kiting Parata doesn't require any movement speed, because on both ends of the big rock it takes a little detour which gives you extra space. Sometimes its enough to get a tier2/3 or Aspir/Drain off, which helps speed up the fight.
