The only time Fox News represents the Majority of Americans is in the South, and there is a reason why we do not take them seriously. With that being said I was born and raised down there and yeah the stupid runs pretty deep there, sadly the people who are capable of rational thought and reason usually leave, like myself. It is a self sustaining cycle of hate, fear and stupidity because each generation is brought up the same. It's sad because there are some very good, decent and honest people from there but everyone gets a bad rap from the large majority of fools like the guy above.

I suppose having to cut down all services, including education and medical, and having no power to stop the bleeding of jobs because we can't print money so we have to privatize everything to the same Americans companies who have been making out like bandits from our system is a perk to someone, somewhere. And i suppose getting less services than the states because we're not a state yet we're the poorest of all the territories while Israel gets ten times what we get and they're not even a territory is also a perk.

And i suppose we could protest for independence if the FBI haven't been sabotaging the independence movement and helping start a mcarthysm against independence on the island for 3 decades is also a perk for someone.

Why not move away from the American system? Do not give me that stuck bullshit. If you have the time to play FFXI & or any other computer games + surf the internet shit can't be that bad. Again I believe if enough people were unsatisfied with the way things are there then there would way to many riots/protests/march etc to be "quelled by the FBI" it would more likely be the CIA anyways fucking with Latin America countries is their area of expertise. But it seems people there are happy with the status quo.

If the answer is no, and then yes, apply same example. Second, is communism and socialism considered by many in the US to be a bad word? If so, apply the same example.

If you would stop and read what I am saying you would realize we agree on many things. My point was about not making snap decisions about people. You made an over generalization about Americans and I retorted with a stereotypical generalization of Puerto Ricans in New England. You made a comment of Anti Americanism that is pretty popular in some parts of the world, and after eight years of Bush I fully understand why. So I in return made the same type of comment about Puerto Ricans. Setrotypes are fun aren't they.

My point was do not lump all of us Americans into the same boat as Bush and the Republicans. Yeah we've elected Obama and no everything is going to be magical rainbows and fucking gumdrop lolipops, but hey we are working on it, the majority of us American Citizens who took to the polls and voted made our choice and we wanted something different.
