POL Accounts randomly deleted >.> Should I worry?

Yeah, it's related to the plug-ins. If I don't want to see the error, I usually unload all the plug-ins manually. Most of the time I just let it crash.

It happens from time to time because of the POL Crashes, it has happened to me a few times. Nothing to worry about~

happens to me sometimes when i click the launcher too fast multiple time to dual-triple box login (too impatient )

then the update screen shows and i get garbage member information and "Guest" with invalid pw etc

i just install POL viewer again and its fine..but have to re-enter info again bleh

have you ever notice when you shut off FF and then go to task manager, you would see the pol.exe still running?

i find that every annoying since it is wasting computer resource

The latest windower build fixed the crash on /shutdown, it is distance fault IIRC. Keep windower updated!

I've had the latest Windower (3.41) since it came out and it's only been doing this since then. =P

If it's related to the plugins, is it all or any plugin? Or a single one I can unload before shutting down?

Distance is the primary plug-in responsible. ExpWatch can occasionally cause freezes/crashes as well.

Are you running FFXI under different Windows accounts?
Have you tried opening POL under a different user?

I notice if I log in using VMWARE fusion all the passwords will be deleted.
I consider this as a security measure then to be worried.

It could be that something is trying to access the ID database, and in that case I should be very worried that something is trying to get your encrypted data.
