Also, if you're /BLM, I guess you cast...thundaga or aero II to lower your MP enough for Uggy? If you're so wild about damage as to have a sub that's almost useless for anything else (I guess you can warp yourself or escape people), I hope you have an Uggy.

I don't know. I end up curing rather a lot on COR when I'm /mage. Sometimes I take damage too, and people don't always get around to the COR right away. If I have to keep Evoker's Roll on a party (like it's 5 BLMs and a COR), it's nice to have a useful way of disposing of unwanted MP. I guess it's a lot easier if you're solo.

Edit: or it could be COR BRD BLMx4, like we had at our last Ouryu; it's pretty impossible for a COR to never get Ballad in that situation, and I can't really go free-nuking things whenever I want, so I would have been severely annoyed. Not to mention the damage I was taking, and the amount of curing I did for the BLM party.

Ah yeah, I'd totally forgotten about Ouryu. /Whm there helped a ton, with the same setup. The Brd and I basically kept the Blms alive whenever eles decided to be particularly nasty, or an AoE-happy Worm popped too close to them.

Getting AGI etudes from the BRD with Macc/Mattack rolls on while she was in the Air made for some epic QDs too, even without MAB from sub.

What Ulti said =X. I really hated having to pull in low level exp (before Quick draw), and then having my entire roll rotation thrown out of whack. That, or having to stop pull for 15 seconds so I could get rolls up before running off.

in case anyone missed it, this^ is why COR shouldn't be pulling.

all of COR buffs share the same timer so to keep them up you need to keep the timing, not like BRD that can sing @ their leisure whenever they're @ camp. Not to mention COR can't just roll and walk away, they need to stick around to double-up/snake eye/fold when needed.
