I've been having a lot of fun exploring. I'm a melee-only kind of guy so typically I start the game on "Very Easy" if I'm not familiar with the enemies and environment. It's been a lot of fun, and surprisingly I found a healthy challenge. There's an army of ghouls at the Nuclear Test Site that were simply eviscerating me... I had to switch to my pistol after dying 4-5 times. After all the work, I found a set of three diaries, a Nikola Tesla & You skill book, and an exclusive (I think it is, anyway) shotgun called the Hunting Shotgun I believe. It does about 87 dps, which isnt bad considering I have a gun skill of 19.

Yeah I've been exploring the shit out of the mojave. I just wish the wild wasteland trait would happen more often, some of the stuff I've seen from it have been pretty hilarious.

Played FO3 on console and PC and never had that issue, and as far as I can tell New Vegas lockpicking is just fine

Glad you're liking hardcore mode . I thought it came out quite well.

Let me know if you find yourself dying a lot from lack of anything, or if you find it too easy to get food/water/sleep. I never got to test myself with an extended play through, so I'm curious.

Ran into one glitch now lol tested it a few times. There seams to be a young gecko hunter thats glitched into the ground you can knife it but can't shoot it. Yeah dont try and kill it as soon as you kill it freezes your xbox totally lol. Its between the starter town and and the second one

I don't like that all the traits now have a negative effect <_< I like being good at multiple things with my char in these games. Oh well, I picked Wild wasteland as one of my starting ones since that seemed like a totally different one.

AMD Athlon II X2 240 2.8 GHz
4 GB ram
nvidia geforce gt 240

Runs on High settings with some frame rate drops in over crowded areas (expected), sometimes feels jerky and slow during cutscenes, like there mouth is moving slower than their words. Other than that it runs like a champ and I'm happy I stuck with my PC for this purchase. Can't wait to add mods to it :D
