Can anyone on pc tell me what their system is and how well the game plays?

Asus G73J laptop

Intel i7 720 (@1.6-2.8Ghz)
8gigs of RAM
ATI 5870 (equivalent to 5770 for desktops)

Playing on Ultra High @1920x1080 and I'm about 40 FPS outside, 60 FPS inside, and 30 FPS in combat

ok so apparently you can leave stuff in the desk in Victor's shack in Goodsprings and sleep there too

The only real house people seem to have found is the motel room in Novac, although I've read some posts saying people's stuff disappeared from the containers there...

Anyone else find another permanent house?

my game just froze when I tried to repair a cleaver (on 360), yay

This is pretty good so far, it just feels like more Fallout 3 (with a LOT more crap to lug around, jesus fuck). I bet people are going to complain about the four year old graphics or the fact that the game doesn't seem to have been streamlined/improved in ways beyond adding gameplay mechanics.

Also the radio announcer this time is fucking great

Ugh I've had my game freeze a few times now too.... on ps3. Kind of annoying because it's making me stop and save every 10 minutes just in case it freezes.

Wow... Somehow managed to kill 20 deathclaws at the Deathclaw Promontory, including a Death Claw Alpha Male and Deathclaw Mother. No rewards though, wtf

Eh, there's a few more subtleties to it than that, but to each his own.

On a separate topic, I'd like to point out to anyone playing the 360 version to stay away from the "Classic Pack" DLC for the time being, should you have it. Looks like it's corrupting files left and right for people.
