I can honestly say I do not fucking like Nightkins at all. D: These are some mean sons of bitches that made me yelp like a little girl the first time I saw one.

Whats peoples display settings on PC version? It runs fine except for when I speak to people, or whenever someone speaks to me, it seems to drop in to low 20's/30 FPS. Strange.
EDIT: Looks like this is a widespread issue with Nvidia cards only. Suck a dick Obsidian QA/Nvidia.
Given it's the same engine for the most part, is it safe to assume the PS3 version is butt-ugly and has horrendous FPS/freezing problems still?
I'm not nabbing the game here until a GOTY edition (assuming it gets that label) is out with the DLC packed in. Main reason being I prefer playing on PS3, and I honestly like having all the DLC available to me from the get go so I can play it all in one runthrough of the game, rather than having to bust out the disc (and wallet) every time a new pack gets released.

Just a d3d9.dll file in to the FalloutNV directory seems to fix frame rate problems for people having them. Side effect is that FRAPS and other programs that hook in to display frame rate seem to not work, but it runs much more smoothly. I'm using this until an official fix comes out anyway.
I'm with you on that. I did one of those jump and throw the mouse forward things because I was not expecting cloaking fucking giants.
Apparently if you copy over your dx9 dll from deep within win/winsxs to the engine's main directory that will help. The actual FPS drop is due to the "emotion" they show on their faces, there's a console command that will remedy the FPS loss by disabling facial inflections, but I used the dll "fix." (which did improve fps)
sorry if olde
I think that was the most homo thing I've ever watched on youtube..
I was laughing at bit hard at his breathing....., fucker was so excited.
You can't get a perk every level? That's really lame.
New Vegas pogs.
Lockpicking is really hard without Xbox controller and vibration feedback... If I hook up my xbox360 controller can I use it, and more importantly (probably a longshot) can I get some vibration cues for lockpicking?
It was every level in Fallout 3, every 3 levels in 1&2
You got access to 'new' perks every 3 some levels in Fallout 3, but you always got a point to slot in every level.
What Kaisha said. New perks were every 3 levels in every Fallout up to this one which is now 2 levels.
