How the balls does Caravan work? I won my first game by just throwing cards wherever.

By the by for anyone that does the HELIOS quest, don't kill the hostile the guard dogs protecting the east terminal, it turns the NCR hostile to you. You can run in and click it and get it running then run out and lock the gate behind you and the NCR stays Neutral ( assuming you haven't done anything to piss them off at this point ).
Anyone know if this game can be played in windowed fullscreen (no border)? When I tried windowed + desktop resolution, it still had title bar / border / went under taskbar :/
Going to write a review on it tomorrow. Man I really enjoy playing this game.
Goddamn I'm hooked, about 24hrs played so far. A Lv14 melee/unarmed character and a Lv13 Rifle character, though I still am not sure how ti get into Vegas lol
Also I really appreciate how they did magazines; making them more scarce but providing +3 points (instead of 1). Sooo Close to 100 lockpicking for my Gobi Sniper <3
So far I've encountered 3 glitches with this game. A dude I killed glitched through the floor which made it so I couldn't loot him, Ringo got stuck in the wall while leaving the gas station, and just now the game froze while loading an autosave after I died. When I reset the 360 and tried to load the autosave, the game tells me that the save requires DLC that I no longer have. If I try to load it anyways it tells me I have no storage device. Sooo... had to load the hard save which made me lose 2~ hours of play. ._.
I love having max Luck, I can make around 5k caps in 5 minutes playing Blackjack.
You're going to run into plenty of glitches... Just be sure to save often.
Got into Vegas and finally got my Gobi Sniper Rifle... Looks soooo sexy. I'll be playing some blackjack and earning some implants. Perception, Agility, and Luck will likely be the route I take
The goal is to get your total in each stack to be 21-26. The first two cards in the stack determine the order, ie high low, low high. Jacks remove a card, queens reverse the stack order, kings double the value of a card, and face cards can be played on either side of the board, yours or theirs. It's pretty easy, and a great way to get some money.
Holy fucking shit
I've just had the game freeze my xbox 5 times in a row now. Repairing something in my inventory is about a 50% chance the game will freeze, and pausing the game to save has caused freezes too. What the fuck did Obsidian do with this license for 4 years besides release a carbon copy game with MORE problems than the original? Oh wait they added a massive item creation upgrade system, which was the only thing they added to KOTOR 2 as well. I'm starting to think that the only thing Obsidian is capable of making is excuses, and occasionally a passable sequel.
I would really like to enjoy this game but the fact that it's nearly unplayable on my xbox seems to be getting in the way of that.
The biggest glitch I've found was during the ghoul/nightkin quest
Spoiler: show
Man, I didn't even get to do that quest because the first time he saw me he just attacked me D: Thank god for active stealth boys.
Fucker was annoying. I had to set up some mines to cripple his leg, easy going after that.
I guess this is a skip until majority of the bugs are fixed?
7.5
Bugs, bugs everywhere.
the 360 version is a hot ass mess, it is nearly unplayable if you start encountering these bugs. Dunno about the ps3/pc versions but if you're planning on getting it for 360 I'd definitely wait until they patch things up
So I found an Exp glitch.
Aurelius of Phoenix in the Legion main camp will always give exp if you do the Barter.
The only real problem i found with the PC (Steam) version was an issue with saves. After playing a bit and stoping for a few hours i picked it back up before bed and.. none of my saves where there. Found out you pretty much need to save from the menu in the pc steam version atm due to a bug with the steam cloud thinggie
damn. my 360 copy gets here tomorrow. game looked too awesome to pass up just by watchin my roommate play it (although he did get it on steam). Even still, its pretty unforgivable to release a game with this many bugs. I expect more than just patches to right this wrong.
yeah, what kind of company releases unfinished/unpolished games?
*glances at XIV section*
So I've accidentally aligned myself with the NCR and against the Legion doing some quests it seems. Is it possible to play the game through either side or does the game always make you more friendly to the NCR?
