Speaking of Repcon. Has anyone else found the hidden door near the named Plasma rifle? It was a door that required a skill check and when I passed it nothing happened. Was weird as shit.

So apparently I can't get the named Gauss Rifle if I have the WIld Wasteland perk. Instead of the mercs with it I'll find aliens instead. Guess Ima have to use the console for it

Man, Ratslayer was my favorite gun for half the game just because I didn't have to mod it for night vision or silencer AND for most of the game I was able to oneshot anything I came across while hidden (aside from giant rad scorps, cazadors and shit like that)

Hmm you could try: player.removeperk 000ED568
It'll remove the wild wasteland perk and you could add it back after. Or like you said if you don't want to go through getting it yourself you could just add it with console.

Yeah I thought of that. But I already killed the aliens at the site. I figure the mercs aren't too special so I just gave myself the rifle xD

so uh... has anyone tried to go to hidden valley? My alignment with them is neutral and I have good karma, I stand outside the bunker and 4 paladins come out and rape me for no reason wahtsoever. Now I can't complete my ED-E quest. Adding an alignment system seems nice in theory until you realize that half the time you're going to have to reload a previous save in case everyone decides they don't want to be your friend for no apparent reason.

I never had that happen. When I went to hidden valley the brotherhood let me in but I had to do some quest for the with an explosive collar on my neck before they gave me full access to their spot, lol.

yeah it took me about 3 times reloading until I was able to run my ass off into the bunker and they fitted me with the collar. I have a feeling the game isn't going to give me random things in my inventory back, as it has a nasty habit of making things go poof

Just hit 100 lockpick(couldnt be bothered finding magazines) for the Gobi Campaign Sniper and it's pretty sick. One shots most stuff and nearly 1 shots a Deathclaw with a sneak crit. Just used the implants to get my luck to 10 so i pretty much hit a critical every 2/3 shots(1st recon beret too(also Finesse perk)) Going after this armor next and ill look fuckin' pimp

The ghouls weren't too bad in Repconn, it was those Nightkins in the basement which fucked me up.

I'm badass at Caravan now, winning 37/0. The NPCs suck at playing

Ya I was pretty weak when I went there, like level 5 or 6. Thankfully I had loads of mines so just kited them around with mines. I think it took like 2 or 3 to kill them.

I had to do that for the boss one, The others I just ran back and forth in the hallways crippling their legs so that they couldn't keep up anymore.

I just used stealth boys to avoid the nightkin there. I got spotted by one of them when I ran out, and a glitch actually saved my ass; I fell through the floor and the game warped me back to the entrance where I was safe.

Anyone have problems after reloading shotguns? It seems like it locks up for for a few seconds. I can only move and spam buttons until something works (No firing, ADS, Vats, weapon swapping, using containers, ect). Been googling/looking on Nexus but can't find anyone with a similar issue.

Also, just found a Fatman in horrible condition, but I've finally something to shoot my 3 mini-nukes with. Any target suggestions!?

I've had that issue with the cowboy repeater.

I've only had it with the Lever-Action Shotgun. Always kicks in when I need to shoot shit right away too.
