Anyone have problems after reloading shotguns? It seems like it locks up for for a few seconds. I can only move and spam buttons until something works (No firing, ADS, Vats, weapon swapping, using containers, ect). Been googling/looking on Nexus but can't find anyone with a similar issue.

Also, just found a Fatman in horrible condition, but I've finally something to shoot my 3 mini-nukes with. Any target suggestions!?

Happens to me too, usually with my .44 and Gobi.

Post update I'm noticing waaayyyy more glitches. I hit lag spikes like I'm walking through Lower Jueno at peak hours sometimes, somtimes after zoning it takes 10+ minutes to load, the load frame actually freezes and I'll walk away for a bit and it comes back.

Also noticed that some quests get really buggy. Like 'The House Always Wins VI' where the Legion is going to assassinate the president, Mr House started giving me the mission and the it just said QUEST FAILED mid-sentence. Not sure if its because I went and killed Caesar beforehand or what, but now all the NCR is talking about their President being dead without letting me even attempt the mission. What the fuck. It just put me on THAW VII.

I don't get some of the alignment things. if you go to Searchlight (the irradiated town full of NCR ghouls) you can't avoid killing them (especially if you've got a companion) but if you do kill them, that'll make the NCR attack you when you go back to the strip. Anyone found a way around this? Is there a quest you can do that lets you investigate searchlight and kill ghouls with impunity?

Did you talk with the dude at the outskirts who lets you know what happened? I went in there looking for goodies and never got any NCR Infamy. It may be because I was hidden when I popped their domes though.

Sometimes I really hate companions... Boone just starts shooting sometimes and I'm just like GOD DAMN, especially since sometimes I can't even SEE the enemies he's shooting at because he just randomly runs off to do his own thing occasionally.
Another thing about companions... I had ED-E with me and did fast travel to the beer shack with all the cazadores outside (because I wasn't sure if I grabbed the big book of science that's inside it) and since then ED-E has just disappeared. I still get the Enhanced Sensors perk from him but I have no clue where the hell he is. What gives?

ED-E did that to me. I had to use a quest reset console code and a moveto code to find him again. Soon as he came back he played the recordings from the Brotherhood and Followers.

The code is "setstage 001572e8 10"

Make a save file before trying it out obviously.

I was in the NCR camp right outside Vegas handing in the Bounty Heads and the thing just started shooting the troopers entirely un-provoked.

ok im sorry but Deathclaws and mob DT in general pretty much ruins this game. This is fucking retarded.

It's like they didn't even bother trying to balance enemy encounters, just tossed a bunch of swarming mobs and were like "oh btw here's iron sights in case you run out of AP, good luck"

I put it on very easy and these fuckers still kill me almost instantly, fuck you obsidian. Jesus

I didn't find Deathclaws all that bad, I used hunting shotguns on them at first with with the shotgun surgeon perk, and now I use the Dinner Bell and it works pretty well. Crippling them makes them a joke too but that's a lot harder without the dart gun (unless poisoned throwing weapons have the same effect). It is pretty annoying though to enter VATS with full health and exit it with a sliver remaining. On the whole I think mob balance is a lot better than F3 though, where you pretty much either 1 shotted every core mob in the game even on very hard, or got destroyed by BoS mobs which could break all your armor in 2 hits and had x10 as much health as the next strongest version of that enemy.

I had that same issue when I first started. Just restart your ps3 and that should fix it.

I wandered into the Quarry at lv11 or 12. Took me 30min to take down the two Deathclaws and a few stragglers.
I'd light them with the Incinerator, then hide until I'd get a Sneak Attack crit. Don't even want to think about how much ammo I wasted.
Pistols, Rifles, Shotguns...even Miniguns. Nothing dents the things. I emptied an entire Minigun Clip into a Deathclaw's head and it did fuck all damage.

All the while cheesing by perching on the cliffside where they couldn't get to me.

I don't go near Deathclaws till I get my Gobi. It's nice cause just a little east of the Sniper's Nest is a sweet little Deathclaw camp with like 20 Deathclaws and some special Armor(If it doesn't just up and vanish, fuck you glitchy game).

yeah that's how I beat them finally, stood on a boulder and let them run around like crazy trying to figure out how to path to me. Still took a long ass time to kill the mother/alpha male
