Ya reputation is a bit buggy for me as well. When I'm strolling around with NCR ranger armor, my NCR reputation is at Neutral but if I throw anything else on it goes up to accepted. After killing everyone in the The Fort and Cottonwood cove, my Caesar's legion fame is also still sitting at neutral even when wearing faction neutral armor.

Well, I'm done with this game. It's gotten to the point where it's constantly laggy and unplayable. I'm not starting over for a 3rd time.

You know another thing thats a bit shitty with this game is how narrow your options are in getting through situations. For example at the VERY START of the game, when you're in Goodsprings. I made another character that was high strength and agility for melee. I wanted to go evil with them so I decided to help the Powder Gangers take over the town. I was told to go "shake down" the main merchant in town, so I cruise over and my dialogue options are Barter and Speech.

Yeah, I don't remember a lot of shakedowns I've ever seen in fiction or in life needing a lot of silver tongue. Shakedowns are more brute force right? No option. All, or most of, the good weapons? Need 100 science or 100 lockpick. I understand you can't give everyone everything but still, open it up for other characters. 90% of the dialogue or situational options come down to speech, barter, lockpick, science. They didn't really take a lot of time to reward you for building different classes or encourage you to play anything outside of a rogue / hacker ( mage ) model.

If I have high explosives, give me a perk or a chance to open locks with bubblegum and C4. Make strength more capable in dialogue without a perk. There's a lot of potential with this game but seriously, relying on magazines and chems to pass checks on dialogue is pretty lame.

Ive had to restart this game as well, 5 times, I'm done at this point, back to Fable/Red Dead for me, guess ill trade my copy in on Assassin's Creed.

Anyone having trouble triggering Arcade Gannon's companion quest ("For Auld Lang Syne"?) I already have Power Armor training from completing the BoS quests but I want access to the Remnants bunker and the Tesla Armor, but I can't seem to trigger the quest even though I've gotten all the conversations. Also, when I send Arcade back to the Lucky 38 and switch companions, I can't seem to re-invite him, it just doesn't give me the option. Any ideas on how to get the quest to trigger?

Meanwhile I'm afraid of leaving Boone in Lucky 38 cuz I know that fucker is drinking all my Nuka Cola Victory or something

yeah that's what I've been following, and it's still not triggering. I'm guessing it's either glitched for me or I have to wander around the wasteland with Arcade until it does trigger, but I'm guessing the latter won't happen.

Btw if anyone is having trouble with Securitrons/robots and guys in Power Armor, the Pulse Gun is soooo fucking overpowered. Pretty much 2 shots any robot in the game, 1 shots on easy/very easy

Finished the game w/ the NCR faction, game was too fun, doing my 2nd run but this time fucking around w/ the console commands, wayyyyyy toooooo funnnnnn. just decided to throw out all unarmed and the unarmed perks and just bust out the ballistic fist, too much hilarity.

Managed to complete all faction quests. 44/50 Achievements, the last 6 are killer.

just hit level 4, trawling through some desert area absolutely filled with scorpions and no cover whatsoever, pain in the ass. I'm getting pretty good at sniping with just a pistol though.

...yeah I play games slowly. I don't know how anyone with a job could already have beaten this.

Both his quest and Raul's quest seem bugged. I can't get either to give me them even though I've met all the requirements. Raul's can be fixed via console I hear, but the commands aren't working for me. I must be doing it wrong or something.

I actually got Arcade's to trigger, just finished Cass's and now I'm working on Veronica's. Every time I go back to 38 I notice that Boone is eating my food but whatever, not that I ever use it anyway

If you ARE in fact using Patch #1 and you're still seeing tons and tons of issues, please let me know what console you're playing on when you're seeing a bug. If you have 100% steps to repro (this is a big game, a lot of stuff can change behind the scenes to make bugs near impossible for someone to reproduce on their machine) feel free to post them.

There are more patches coming, as well.

btw, is that really Wayne Newton voicing Mr. New Vegas? The voice cast is pretty incredible for this game btw, Kris Kristofferson and Michael Hogan and whatnot. Although I've encountered like... at least 30 generic NPCs that are all voiced by Yuri Lowenthal lol.

Patch more variety into dialogue and situations instead of forcing everyone to cap speech / barter / lockpick / science

anyone have any tips as to which Implants I should pick? With 2 pts in Intense Training my END is 7 now and I already got the Luck Implant so the choices are 6 of the following:

Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, HP Regen, Damage Threshold

I was thinking everything but Perception (since Energy Weapons/Lockpick are already 100) and Charisma (since Speech is 100 too)

In case anyone was wondering, with STR 5/PER 7(+1 from gear)/END 7/CHA 6/INT 7/AGI 5/LUK 5(+1) and every skill book except one, my skills are as follows:
Barter 61, Energy 100, Explosives 55, Guns 100, Lockpick 100, Medicine 61, Melee 28, Repair 82, Science 100, Sneak 36, Speech 100, Survival 66, Unarmed 35. I overshot a few points on Speech/Science and I took a 4th tag skill so I probably could have gotten medicine to 70, and with implants that'll go up, but yeah it's impossible to get 100 in everything in this game like it was in FO3 (without magazines anyway)
