isn't that NCR ranger armor?
Julie Farkas can get rid of a chem addiction, so can the doc in goodsprings I think, otherwise you can just use Fixers for a temporary fix I guess
per the wiki:
There seems to be a bug in New Vegas at the moment which makes the Ant Nectar addiction incurable. Neither doctors nor a Doctor's Bag will make it go away.
The console command Player.RemoveSpell 0006DC6E will immediately remove the addiction on the PC version.
And yeah, like Atreides mentioned, that's NCR Ranger armor. It shows up later in the game once you've progressed through some of the main faction's questline. If you're quick you can get some during "You'll Know it When it Happens." Otherwise, just stealth kill someone wearing it in the hallways of the building in Camp Golf.
Anyone know how to fix a bug that is preventing me from bringing in companions to the player's suite in the Lucky 38? Victor said my buddies can hang out in my suite, but there is no option to tell them to wait at the Lucky 38 and when I talk to Victor he makes my companions wait outside the Lucky 38. Not allowed in at all.
I want to take Arcade up to the bedroom. <3
If you walk past Victor and click the door with them following, they should come with you.
So I have hit a bit of a weird glitch. I was using the Brotherhood of Steel chick as my companion. She went missing for a long time(game time) and I never got the message that she returned to the trading post. Somehow I now have a female NCR ranger following me and acting as my companion. If I kill her I get the your companion has died message. It's weird as shit. Anyone else have this happen?
Veronica was probably trying to flag her companion quest with you. She will not fast travel with you unless you talk to her. Trace your steps backwards until you find her at one of your last locations. Talk to her and she will give you a quest, and she will behave as normal again, following you and everything.
I had this exact thing happen to me and I had to backtrack to an earlier save to figure out where she was then reload my current one. I left her all the way at Sniper's Nest overlooking Cottonwood Cove and I had completed some small run-around quests without noticing she wasn't with me for awhile.
trailer for new DLC, Dead Money
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/de...out-new/708517
looks interesting, I wonder if they're going to patch the ending so people who beat the game don't have to start a new game or find an earlier save
I haven't had much time to keep up with this game, but how have the patches been coming along? In particular the PS3 version?
I don't see why they would as in this one it really isn't necessary (at least until they decide, if ever, to continue on the main story like they did with Broken Steel). The game gave plenty of warnings that you would not be able to go back at all past the point and even gives you the option to not accept the mission, unlike Fallout 3. If anyone is going to be mad they don't have a recent save to go back to, that's really their fault this time around.
That being said, this DLC look pretty awesome. Will definitely be a day 1 purchase.
I find it funny that they fixed the game-breaking bugs/glitches 6 days ago and now they want our money for DLC. >_>;
But, now I get to finally play my copy that I've had since release!
It seems strange to me that they would offer a game on three platforms and then have DLC content exclusive to one of those platforms. I would imagine that it will eventually be released on all three platforms, but even so, it seems like a kick in the gut to non-Xbox players.
Not really that strange at all. They did it with Fallout3, Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, now New Vegas. MS sits on them for a few months (or I think in the case of Fallout 3 almost six months) and then they eventually release on everything else. I'm sure there are plenty of others people can chime in on, but it's not uncommon or odd by any means.
*EDIT*
Hurf beat by a bit.
If microsoft bought the rights for now, does that mean PC will get it too same day? >.>
Oh? That patch is live now? Perhaos I can actually complete my game. For the Republic, Part 2 was totally bugged for me. Couldn't progress at all.
I don't think the wait will be quite as long as it took for FO3 (Took over a year, didn't it?) Probably be more along the lines of Call of Duty and be a month or two exclusive. A 6 or 12 month timed exclusive would suck though.
EDIT: Looks like PC might get it before PS3.
