I sold my copy a long time ago so I'm just waiting on the GOTY reissue with all the DLC.

So is there a convenient way to level up in the main game at all? I'm nearly at the end of the main storyline and I'm only like 17 or 18.
Do all the side missions.
A bump because of latest DLC. "Old World Blues" is hilarious, challenging, and worth a purchase. You can bring as much into the DLC area as you can carry (minus companions), and you can return to the area once you have completed the main quest and use it as a storage facility. The voice acting is amazing, particularly Dr. Mobius and The Sink's appliances. (Toaster and Muggy in particular.)
Edit: Nvm im dumb
I liked Dead Money.... >_>
All you had to do to bypass the collar (if you really disliked destroying radios and speakers or avoiding them) was type tgm in the console and let it explode. You live, the collar is gone, and the game continues as if it never happened. Turn off tgm when done. Voila!
Not all of us play on pc doucheAll you had to do to bypass the collar (if you really disliked destroying radios and speakers or avoiding them) was type tgm in the console and let it explode. Voila!I did go back through and play Dead Money a few more times and it's not as bad as I originally thought. It's still incredibly annoying. But not unplayable.

Super necro but I've drunkenly decided to replay this game.
Any must have mods I should be using? I'm replaying it so I don't mind going crazy with mods for fun.

good place to start
I liked the Centered Third Person Camera on that link
My favorite though was CONELRAD 640-1240 Civil Defense Radio - It's a pretty amazing radio station that makes up for all of the 3 song stations
O man... Time to undust this damn game and reinstall it. I sure as hell miss new vegas.
I picked it up again on a Steam sale last year. It was great to go back.
Call me crazy but i seriously love the recent fallout games more than the recent elder scrolls games. I enjoy them so much more and the glitches just adds to the charm.
Damn it now I'm getting nostalgic for NV, too. Loved thinking I was unstoppable hot shit, then accidentally wandering into the Death Claw quarry and getting two-shotted.
My favorite New Vegas glitch was when I had my Mutant Companions weapons glitch together to make a Gunblade. I think it was some sort of automatic rifle was the guard of the Rubar weapon that he could swing and fire from. I'm certain I have the spot where I noticed that still saved.
Go get Project: Nevada. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/40040/?
It's the best single mod there is. Nevada skies is one that makes the game nicer to look at. Posting from phone, I can add more that I use later if there I'd an interest.
