I never really understood the fallout hate without it being direct fanboyism. Sure Fallout 3 is hardly perfect, but it's still a good game.
Need to put this CE on amazon so I can pre-order it :/ of course it might be best to hold off on the CE and pick it up later for cheap.... that's what I did with fallout 3's CE. Things are still available for sale at cheap prices to this day I think. There is a gamestop 5 miles from me that says they still have one for $40 lol.
I guess I can kinda understand, it's how I felt about Suikoden Tierkris. but when I gave it a chance, I realized it was a pretty great little RPG, even if it's a departure from standard Suikoden games. but that is what it comes down to - fanboyism. people get mad because Fallout 3 wasn't what they wanted it to be, and forget that it's still a fantastic game on its own merits.
and I feel lucky, I'm almost level 7, just reached Underworld, and have only had my game crash once (which if memory serves was right after a save). playing on PS3. of course, now I'm knocking on wood.
The only times I really crashed in fallout 3 was before the first update and then every time I messed with the fmoverun and fjumphight of course this was PC. Is the console versions terabad?
My 360 version froze quite a bit, like every 2 hours. And the framerate was pretty choppy most of the time.
All three versions had crashing problems, I only crashed once or twice in over 200 hours on the 360 and PS3 versions, no, they weren't terribad, they were the same as PC w/o the mods.

The trailer they released for this is terrible.....
oh goody, retailer exclusive preorder content

· 10 Throwing Spears - If you would like to silently pin an enemy's head to a wall, Throwing Spears are the way to do it.
Really starting to hate this gen with the pre-order bullshit. Even worse that they split up different bonuses for different retailers, I fucking hate when they do that. Just put it ALL in the box as a one time use code for people buying it new as an incentive if you are so concerned about used game sales.
I wouldn't mind if it was just outfits, but they are doing exclusive weapons for each retailer too. Ugh.
yeah, in case it wasn't obvious, my oh goody was meant very sarcastically
Guess Ill be doing bestbuy, even tho i had planned on getting it on amazon.
Is it just me, or do those screenshots look a little... lacking? Maybe I'm just used to playing FO3 on PC with max everything.
It's the exact same engine, unsure what you were expecting.
