Original owner's account gets passed around like a $2 whore and they get lied to about it by everyone involved.

Original owner recovers account, though people told him not to, so they could keep it for themselves, finds out that they all lied, and fucks the people who lied to them.

Am I missing anything?

Ok so let me get this straight, Sirens gave their account away and they were lied to about what happened to the account. Both Rowec and Msnl knew that Sirens had the rights to that account, as the original owner, and bearing that risk, went ahead and did as they wanted.

And I'm sorry, 2 years on the account? You seriously could have leveled your own character, hell it only takes 1 month to get a 75 job if you know what you're doing, and maybe 2 weeks to get all your missions done if you bust ass.

I'm not going to call either side right but heres what i see:

A: Sirens was the original owner of the acct, and was free to come back as they pleased, regardless of the fact that they were lied to in an attempt to keep them from coming back.

B: Both Rowec and Msnl knew the risks surrounding it, and they did it anyway.

Sirens, you're stupid for giving your account away in the first place, seriously.

Rowec, you're stupid for passing Siren's account around like a prom-night whore in an orgy.

Msnl, you're stupid for using an account that wasn't even your own, and putting that much effort into it. Account recovery isn't a new thing by any means, and you should have taken that risk into account.

This whole thing is fucking retarded, Sirens I'll talk to you in game. But unless someone adds some new information within the next hour or so, please do lock this. My mind has been made.

Msnl did nothing wrong in this situation. Someone quit with a shitty 75 nin and gave their account away. Msnl leveled it under the pretext it was now her account since dude wasn't coming back. All the relevant jobs have been leveled by her, as well as all gear/gil obtained. Now if you give your char away for 2 years or so, then try and come back when the person has done more or less all the work on your account, do you do all your cockblocking moves and try to get it back? no. If you are even considering this fucking dickfuck in your ls you are an idiot. All the relevant jobs and equips were not received by this dude.
