Maat's Cap question

I did MNK Maat fight to finish toward cap and am unsure if the victory counted as no title was obtained. I Killed him just as he killed me so cleared the battle field dead.

Anyone else who has done Maats cap have this happen and did it count for a win ?

He hit me about 5-6 times after I defeated him and I came out dead, but got the clear. I never went back there, and he gave me the cap so I would guess you are fine.

it should count because theres no reason to eject you from the bc even if you die

unless you die at the exact 10mins mark
