We all bitch a ton about everything about this game. 99% of that bitching is a tempest in a teapot.

If we really want to be effectual the best thing to do is to send messages to SE. It may end up in the circular file, and it may not, but I would guess that there has to be some kind of critical mass point at which they recognize that people are sending in the same requests over and over.

If we are just bitching to blow off steam and don't do anything then we are all just punk ass bitches.

If we are bitching but actually put some kind of effort behind that bitching then we are actually doing something positive.

Even if you just copy and paste your forum posts into the suggestion box and send it in every day, the amount of correspondence that SE gets would skyrocket.

Hell if I can just copy and paste some of my BG posts onto my blog and then publish that and people still read it then, think what this forum could do with the same approach?

Maybe we should just copy and paste the whole forum to them daily...

It does sometimes work, and sometimes even one voice can get a change.

Long ago there was next to no ice moghancement stuff for MHs (which matters for leathercrafters). I sent in info on that, comparing how many items there were for earth, wind, etc. A few months later the snowmen with good ice moghancement were added, and in the patch after that a bunch of new ice stuff was added.

Interesting idea. I can't think of how many times I though to submit something to SE only to not be able to find the link or in the process of finding the link get sidetracked. Would be cool to have a special BG petition button to press to "automatically" forward shit to SE.

Would honestly not be that hard to do, you could put your pol email in a private field in your BG account, and then just take apart their submissions page to submit for you programaticaly.

Exactly right! I actually think it was probably the number of reasonable GM calls put in about it. It's also why I made the post about the suggestion e-mail. I don't want people to get the impression that bitching on forums alone does anything at all.

Weren't you one of the three stooges bashing BG for deleting the Salvage exploit thread because it would have made SE aware of the issue, when several people already stated they went through the proper channels? Seems like your just taking advantage of SE's recent admission of enfeebling being broke to try and elevate yourself in some pseudo-I-Told-You-So fashion.

I would assume you weren't full of shit if you didn't complain every time I say I'm dissapointed with something or want something changed. If you recognize the benefit of collective critism to motivate action, then every leakyvag post you've made in the past carries no weight. I use the Special Task Force part of that site to report fish bots or whatever.
It got rid of this one fisher down in kuftal (I like to think) when Yellowman and I kept reporting her daily lol.

Doesn't do any good for HNM bots though since they "can't catch those in their logs"

It's listed in your membership info in POL, even if you have one of those unmemorizable asdfagd1hg£4hag&%[email protected] of addresses that SE gives by default you can always go look it up when you need to bitch/offer constructive criticism.

I did say that BG shouldn't have removed that thread because the person that removed the thread did so because they wanted to continue using the exploit.

Doing the right thing in different places isn't mutually exclusive. The problem I had with Wafik was the motivation to remove it. Thinking people shouldn't hide exploits to continue to take advantage of them, and reporting them to SE is pretty much completely consistent.

I am absolutely taking advantage of SE's recent admission of the enfeebling problems to get people to contact SE about everything. I don't know what the hell that has to do with anything about saying "I told you so". I just think it is a universally good idea for everyone, myself included.

If anyone has a problem with the game, instead of just posting them here, they should post it here AND send it to SE!

But there is a current known issues update which means their tired of fucking hearing about it because they already know.

They are probably tired of hearing about it from GM calls and the support feedback link.

When I disagree with you, and as you can see in the Salvage threads it is not universal disagreement, I do so on the merits of your complaints. I don't do it just because you are complaining.

Our disagreements should never stop you from reporting problems, issues, complaints or criticism to SE. In fact, even if I think you are 100% wrong, you should still send your ideas to SE. They may agree with you, even though I don't.

Neo, get past the fact that I am making this post, and look at the merit of having more people contact SE. It serves both of our purposes. You aren't disagreeing with the idea, you just want to disagree with me. And dude, that's just lame.
