I am sure that 99% of the comments get blown off as white noise, but there is/may be a point of critical mass that when enough people send them comments about something that they fix it.

Neo can and should send SE comments every day that he hated the new expansion. If enough people agree to send the comments to SE then maybe the next expansion won't suck as much, or future content might not suck as much.

My point is that just bitching about it on BG probably does sod all, but at least sending those comments to SE has a chance, no matter how small, of getting recognized.

So bitch here and then send it to SE also! Just copy and paste your BG post into the comments field and send it. Even better, support the idea of getting a button added to the posts that auto-fills the SE Comments & Suggestions e-mail and then send that to them.

I don't know if there is a point in listening to me, maybe nothing will happen, but there isn't a reason to not do it either.

I think there is some evidence that the RMT reporting system works at the very least, and Thistle mentioned that he reported the lack of ice for furniture and that got fixed. Did it work? Who knows, because you can't prove a negative in this case.

The real question is what does it hurt to send the messages to SE?

I really have no clue how making this suggestion could piss anyone off. Hell, I don't even understand how I pissed off Neo. I just think that if we are going to bitch about the problems in the game here (and when I say we I completely include myself) then we might as well send it along to SE too. I can't see any harm in that at all.

Unfortunately those statistics would have to come from SE. But this is the official method they have provided and pointed to for us to give direct feedback. It's a short web form it really can't hurt to fill it out for those issues you really care about.

In general, you are asking for proof of the unprovable. I don't work at SE, I don't know what their process is for dealing with comments and suggestions. I do know they have a comments and suggestions e-mail form, and I do know they have on multiple occasions said that they listen to them.

Just because submitting a comment doesn't cause SE to send you a personal e-mail saying that they will get right on it, doesn't mean you shouldn't do it.

I've used their suggestion box often in the past. One of the things I suggested was making Delkfutt's Key into a key item to cut down on inventory space. Maybe just a coincidence they happened to need to do it for ACP misison but who knows. In the same comment I suggested doing the same thing for Tonberry Lantern and Quadav Charm, so if they did listen they didn't completely follow through lol.
