Now let's analyze that!
Well I think it's great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. so far so good
We live in a land that you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. wait... what? first, no we don't. in most states, you can't. second, what the fuck is "opposite marriage?" I know what she meant, but wow, what an extremely awkward and horrible choice of words. hopefully she won't continue that trend
You know what? no, please tell us!
In my country, in my family, wait, in your country or your family? which one are we talking about here?
I think that I believe that you think you believe? what does that mean, you're not sure what your own beliefs are?
a marriage should be between a man and a woman hmm but you just said it's great that we live in a country where people can choose...
no offense to anybody out there well isn't that kind of you
but that's how I was raised and that's how the word "why" would have been a far better choice here, explaining "how" you believe something is more of that awkward word choice I was hoping you'd avoid
I think that it should be between a man and a woman. Thank you. interesting that, although you stated your beliefs on the subject, you never directly answered the question of what states should do
If nothing else, she completely lost her poise and stumbled awkwardly through the answer. Says a lot about her intelligence level, and isn't the pageant supposed to be about more than just beauty? Had she given the same answer but phrased it in an eloquent manner, I wonder what the results would have been. Maybe she still would have lost. Maybe not. At the very least she could have answered the question from a logisitical standpoint instead of spouting forth her own personal beliefs. I think I believe that would have helped.
Also, Perez Hilton is a worthless scumsucking piece of shit, but really, how is that newsworthy anymore?
