That's just baiting. I have no way to prove I don't care what she thinks, and you know it. I really don't like how she went one direction then stumbled and went another. And again I don't care because I think the last time I actually watched one of these pageants was when I was maybe 11 years old.

It would be like saying I should care some hockey player got boxed (or w/e it's called) for some move when I could care absolutely nothing about hockey. This doesn't make me rage like others and it has nothing to do with her personal feelings.

This "controversy" comes down to a very simple thing. Somewhere along the line, the notion of free speech got contorted somehow in the minds of many into "consequence free speech." The first amendment says that congress can not make a law that prevents you from speaking your mind. It does not mean that every other private citizen can't fucking ostracize you for speaking your mind. In this case, like in many others like it, the person is free to speak her mind and she's free to have her opinion but it comes with a price. Her audience consists of a proportionately high percentage of gay people. This would be like a fashion model coming out and saying she is against gay rights. This is very much like the Dixie Chicks taking an anti-war stance. Their audience is made up largely of conservatives with an opposing viewpoint so obviously there will be blowback. Just as they can use their celebrity to speak their agenda, their fans are free to disagree and take their dollars elsewhere. Miss Cali had a platform to speak her agenda, Perez had a platform to assert his. I'd call it a draw.
