Yup, once again, a use of force that could have been avoided if the idiot just listened to the officers orders.

You get a chance to plead your case after the police take you into custody. If he had just stopped, and let them cuff him, he could have avoided the pain, the publicity, and the bad press.

I mean hell, it's California, when he went to trial/hearing/whatever, the courts would've let him off with something like "time served" or community service anyway.
