only when there's a bunch of moving platforms and the monsters can knock you into holes. I'd only use it if there's a bunch of monsters on the board for 1) quick energy/life power-ups and 2) enemy control. Plus it rapes one of the mini-bosses in Willy's stages, but I forgot which one <_<

It's the one with the 7 platforms (it makes a circle) and the boss would pop up from one of the platforms

Homing Hornet made the game too easy, seriously. See ANYTHING on the board that's out of reach? Homing Hornet got ya. Gonna get raped at the next drop-off? Homing Hornet those bastards. Hell, even most bosses get raped by them, solely for the fact that you can spam the shit out of homing hornet and never run out. >_>

The first time I played Mega Man 9 I was half drunk and between me and three other people, we couldn't even get to Splash Woman or Jewel Man. I bought it for myself, and got to Wily in 3 hours (who summarily kicked my ass).

Long story short, Homing Hornet kills that Jewel Man miniboss in no time flat, since it immediately targets the right rock and you suck for not knowing that.

The trident = metal man's weapon. After you get it, you should use it in place of the buster 90% of the time.

Also, Tornado Man's weapon isn't that good. I used it a few times in the fortress, that was about it.
