    Stone Gorget/Provoker duo.

So a friend and I are going to try to duo this NM, in Promyvion-Vahzl.

I cant find much information on this, since I guess it isn't fought as much. But from what we gathered, it may be doable by Blm + Sch.

Seems like I could pop it with Sprinter's Shoes, and run it to zone, zoning any aggro get along the way and she keeping the NM claimed.

I read that it was an easy kill with Rdm Blm Blm Brd, just seems like the rdm and brd were there for debuffs and sleeps, and MP regeneration. So I think if we just take a few yags and meds, we'd be able to nuke/sleep and zone if possible.

    thoughts? ideas?

    Thanks in advance ^^

I'd be very interested to know how this goes also.

Remember that the extra speed from Sprinter's Shoes wears off when you get aggro, so you're not going to be able to just rush to the zone with them.

THF BLM works great for this.

The NM doesn't lose hate, so you can basically zone-nuke forever while the THF kites it around the area. I used Sprinter's Shoes on THF, just need to avoid getting hit. Trotter's makes it cake.

Don't need THF of course, but Flee/Treasure Hunter is delicious, and they got a permanent low-level movement speed item. I can explain more in detail a bit later, if needed.

Edit: To the above poster; yes you can, just don't get hit when popping.

Have the BLM dot it (then die and have the SCH raise) till around 3~2%. The SCH should be able to finish it off with an Elemental Seal nuke. You can fight it at it's spawn point aswell.

That's pretty much how I soloed mine except I used two BLMs and finished it off with Elemental Seal AM.

Well that sounds great, but my thf is only 31 ><

I think, as Sch, I could do a decent job at kiting. I have access to bind/sleep so I could do that while we heal, and the Blm could just nuke/zone.

You know, I could even go Sch/Thf for flee and TH, but I would lose bind.

There are a few different things would work, I'm just trying to see what would work best.

too hard to keep at zone due to mob randomly aggroing. If you ask me, its 100% less trouble to burn two reraise earring and bio2 poison 2 > reraise it to death (its only 7 k exp loss), as blm/nin, and have a friend finish it on THF when its at 1%; SCH will maybe be better at dot killing idk. You don't need get good level cap gear this way either;p

And yes the drop rate is not 100%, you want a THF, I went 1/10 ish with TH2><

It's not that hard to avoid the aggros if you're smart about your pathing. Remember that if you're using Sprinter's though, Flee overwrites its effect, so you'll have to use a new charge once Flee wears off.

    And 4/4 with TH2 here.

RDM can land Bind and Gravity fairly easily. Just have the RDM hold the NM by kiting it around the pillar whilst the BLM zone -> nukes. There are actually a couple of topics on how to kill this thing with low numbers if you'd bothered to search, they're not even a few months old.

It's a shame that these items are rare so that you can only carry one of each, but it might be worthwhile to bring a Terroanima (makes any empty mob run away from you for a short time) and possibly a Psychoanima (makes mob stop attacking, although it can use TP moves) and/or Hysteroanima (stops TP moves).

Might be nice if something goes wrong or if you need a little edge for the killshot at the end.

you're crazy. you can almost always avoid the mobs near the zone (in two solos i got aggroed a total of one time, which only hit me once or twice after shadows were gone before i zoned), and even if you can't, you just have to survive long enough to cast a dot and zone anyway, which isn't hard with /nin, but of course, even if you do die (you really shouldn't...), RR isn't lost when you zone into the promy anymore, so the only thing you'd lose is exp, which you obviously don't care about considering the alternate strategy you suggested..
