In fairness, Bahamut has used a scheduler for Dynamis for like the last 4 years that almost everyone has abided by. It actually worked pretty well for the most part, keeping LS' off of each others' toes, preventing bad blood and most importantly, saving wasted time.

I realize other most other servers don't have something like this, so it seems like an alien concept.

Only thing that really pisses me off is so many advertisement bots started spamming the scheduler that the guy hosting the site had to like hide it in the internetz, and cloak it in Japanese

Limbus zones only take like 40minutes, and the Nyzul door might lead to a 5 minute delay? Dynamis is a much longer event and involves more people.

You're not competing with me when you and 13 other dill-holes occupy Dynamis Bastok for two hours. You're just being annoying because you can't take 45 seconds to look at a schedule to take a zone that no one was planning on entering.

It is a very small world. You probably don't remember this, but you actually helped me long ago by tanking ZM4 on your RDM/WAR. I did remember, so when I was browsing FFXIAH and saw you wanted to buy cheap Alexandrite, I looked you up. I'm not in a huge position of power, and there is little that I can do to help on a large measureable scale. But I do what I can.

Talk tough all you want, but you have benefitted from from the positive culture we have on Bahamut. Everyone has.

There's 1 thing that hasn't been mentioned in all the posts above. The fact that Wish always starts Dynamis at 5:30PM EST (6 is the entry time at the latest) Any linkshell that is scheduled to go after us, has been inconvinienced for an hour, hour and 30 at most. Not that big of a difference from limbus situation. That's provided they actually start on time, which is not the case.

If you think Wish hasn't been inconvinieced by other linkshells taking up our scheduled zones in the past, you're gravely mistaken. We just choose to move on and not waste our time QQing about it. As I said, the influx of Dynamis linkshells in the last year has forced everyone to experience problems with their Dynamis schedule.

And yes, Ehran, I remember I helped you with ZM4 and I'd still gladly help anyone who asks me for help. I simply don't care as much about people outside my immediate group/PT/Linkshell in this game as I used to back then. Considering how time consuming this game is w/o having to deal with people's time frames in order to participate in a group event, I choose to do it at convenient time for me and people in my group. It's a shame you're not in that group, but if you were, I would apply same mentality.

You don't get all the extensions in normal dynamis?

Last I checked, was a max of 3.5 hours from start time with all extensions...210 minutes >>>>>>>>>>>>>> 40 minutes....

You can't compare Dynamis to other events. Limbus and Einherjar both require completing every area before going for the boss, which drops everything that matters. If you did need to schedule runs with another linkshell, it would only be the boss runs. Einherjar only has 1 entry point for every area, and Limbus only has 3, at most 10 minutes apart from each other. Dynamis has a different entry point for every area, and takes at least 15 to 20 minutes to gather everyone if you need to switch. Not to mention Dynamis is several hours, not less than 1. Also, the whole point of scheduling Dynamis is to get relic armor and/or currency, which differs between areas. You're not just switching areas, you're switching your goal entirely.

Nice to see others are rallying to the cause. Yeah .. Cyr is a douche ... plainly obvious in this thread. My linkshell saved him millions of gil by selling him discount currency to buy that shitty ass bow (and with 0 archery skill, LULZ). How does he show us he appreciated this gesture? He shows up to Xarcabard when we are clearly scheduled to go and enters. I sent him 5-10 tells in the 20 minutes before they entered and the only reply I get is after entering he says "Sorry dude .. we just entered"

As far as quitz .... his in game name is Junsun .. tarutaru whm on bahamut (might have moved who knows) and IMO in the same class as Cyr
