New Phone...your thoughts please.

so I'm in the market for a new phone. I had a few models in mind but none of my friends(in b4 "i dont think you even have friends") are tech-savvy to have any valid opinions on the matter(they're mostly iphone or some 1st generation green screened nokia phone users). so basically its come down to 3 phones.

The G1

Sony Ericsson C-905

and finally

Nokia N97


Features that matter to me: Geotagging, GPS, good viewing screen, great camera. Basically I'm torn between the three but my sister says i should just buy the SE unlocked and the G1 with a contract and use the sim card on both for when the mood hits. I'm not sure if that'll work but I plan to find out when i go to t-mobile tomorrow.

If you're considering the N97, why not take a look at the Xperia X1?

Out of the three, I'd say G1.

There something about the X1 that doesn't sit well with me. Probably the color or the fact that it shares its name with the Ventures Jet. I'm not sure. Thanks for the input though

my order of choice on smartphones based on my research has been G1>iPhone (with shake the baby app ofc)>BB storm. being tied to verizon, i got the storm and am fairly happy with it, but i can only imagine that you'll be far more satisfied with the G1. listen to what the people above have said. go G1.

If the N97 battery is anything remotely like the N95 one's then do not get it unless you want to be hooked up to a power cord like 24/7.

If you are willing to pay in full for a storm you can take it to any cell service provider (Its a world phone meaning it has CDMA and GSM). It is well worth it I think my next phone will be a storm and I will be keeping it for quite a while.
