Survey - Gambling Behavior

I am inviting you to participate in a research project to study gambling habits. Below is a link to a short survey that asks a variety of questions about gambling. I am asking you to look over the survey and, if you choose to do so, complete it. It should take you about 10 minutes to complete. This is completely voluntary.

Through your participation we hope to understand to identify factors that influence people to gamble. Your identity will not be exposed, this is completely anonymous. The information received will not be sold or used for profit. This will ONLY be used for a college class project. The results of this project will be documented and analyzed. I will post the results within two weeks (when the presentation is due) if you want to see them.

I don't need a survey to know that I'm a gambler. Not as bad as a friend of mine but yeah, I've had some rough nights and some great nights, over 1.5K swings in chips when I should have stopped at a 500 loss.

Took you survey, I answered zero for everything, so not many of the answers fit me well enough, need more options for negative answers. Also, the one time I gambled, I stopped right after losing the 20 i brought and stopped, that kind of situation didn't seem to be obvious to me.

Yeah, the group that I'm with doing this project realized there were some errors but it was already too late. (like the spelling error on the first page, the not so thought out form of questions, etc. If you have done group work before you can image how tough it is to get everyone on the same page without pissing off everyone)

Our professor was already complaining with the length of the survey and how much it went in depth into the different forms. Despite our whining to let us keep it "longer" we had to omit a bunch of things.

For those of you who only gamble on a whim and only spend a small bit, that's perfect. In the section of "reason why you gamble" click the "other" option and say that its mainly on a whim.
