Uhm...red lines of death

So, I recently moved my computer across the room. Yeah..and now, I'm getting red lines of death across my monitor. I thought it was my graphic card at first, but, took it out, put another in...same thing. Even put it in the thing where there is no graphic card...still same thing. I don't know if this screenshot will show the red lines or not, since I see them, but I don't know how to fix it. any ideas? Cause I have no idea as to what is causing it. =/

Yeah unless I'm missing something I don't see any lines. Have you tried a different monitor?

If that works, i dunno. crappy picture is crappy. But no, haven't tried a different monitor.;

I don't see them either, nor have I ever heard the term red lines of death. Hmmm, any more info you can give us?

is it in either ss? cause I sure as hell see them. Pretty much, it's either a red or blue gargled lines after either text or graphics, so hard as hell typing or even looking at anything, it's pretty bad. Weird that it's not showing up on the screenies even though I see it plain as day on the monitor...

Just checked this thread on the other computer...uhm...red lines not showing up in either screenie. Weird blue circle in the middle of the 2nd one though is still there. Really wondering if it is the monitor...

Yeah, you had posted the second pic while I was typing my comment. I see a blue line in the second pic. Mostly looks like what happens with a bad monitor in my experience though. And for the most part, you never want to fix a monitor yourself sadly. Quick way to get dead Sorry I can't give more info as I'm not 100% sure of what the problem is.

....wow. that was the silliest...wow. turns out the monitor plug...got damaged in the move. New one costs $15...so glad it was that and NOT the computer/monitor.

Edit: Had a feeling it was a bad cord.. but you figured it out before I posted!
