a JP friend of mine in LS said that a JP LS have supposedly killed AV in 22nd of April , and they posted what they have done in this link:

he doesn't speak English well, but if I understood him correctly, they said that each 2hr cancels a 2hr from AV and so on once you use it during his 2hr, doesn't need to be immediately as long the 2hr is active on him. they also stated which 2hrs they have used and their PT set ups

so basically you have to choose which 2hrs to keep it on him , and which hours to cancel , the remaining thing now is which 2hr correlate to which :s

I might be wrong but I think someone who can read Japanese should look at this link and say what he finds :s

This is a report on how we locked AV.

There were 24 total characters, the party setup was:

The fundamental locking method is to match it's 2hs with the same 2h of your own group.

The first time, we let the 2h slip by because of a double DA critical followed by a call Wyvern, but the second time, it used Manafont:

These 2hs were used in that order against Manafont, and it never used Meteor.
After that, it never used Manafont, Chainspell, Benediction or Call Wyvern again.

However, it continued using Invincible, so it is possible that we did not fully lock it.

Originally the BLM party was meant to just kill wyverns, but melee damage was poor on AV, so we took out the monk PT from the main alliance and put the BLM party in.

AV never used Call Wyvern after the first time, so that may have been good fortune for us.

As for the melee DD party, we switched melee DDs in and out as they used SATAWS to plant hate onto the tanks. The tanks carried Magic Def. gear and were all SJ NIN. We swapped the BRD and COR in alternately, and kept Ballad, March, Magus Roll and Evoker's Roll on. Because of that, Aeroga3 only did ~800 damage, and we were able to survive through it.

However, his melee attacks are fast, and there's always a chance of tank death, so our RDMs also used SJ NIN to serve as emergency tanks.

The drops were Rod, Mar's, and Minerva's. Based on the last set of AV kills, the 3 100% drops were AV were Rod, Mar's, and BELLONA'S. The fact Bellona's Ring is not listed tells me one of 4 things: there was either a mistranslation, the poster didn't write the correct drops, it was changed, or this is bullshit.

I'm skeptical, especially since this exact idea was done to death a year ago. Bullshit or ninja-patch change imo.

If I were a JP faking the kill, I would post more impressive drops.
And someone can verify since they did. Besides, are we really that sure Bellona's is 100%?

Bellona's seems like 100% based on the last wave of kills. I know our group was 18/18 on Rod Bellona Mars. I never saw a post or screenshot where Bellona's did not drop.

The LS that did it may not have Air as a member, nor must it be Shiva. It was just someone posting on his forums.
