3. The 2 hr thing is just like what the video posted. the story the JP posted kinda made sense though. Invincible was the only 2 hr they used twice and could have messed up the AV because of that.

How about a linkshell or two go out and repeat the exact conditions for this 'AV kill' and report back to whether or not it works. This entails a similar alliance set up and using the following two hours immediately after it does Manafont.

Will this even happen? Its not the first time AV is being killed after all... unless they're gonna come out of the way and say 'First time AV is being killed the way we intended!'

PW report was the first kill ever, and I still don't think the way its done is the 'correct' way. There's gotta be a gimmick. It can't be this ridiculously hard. If free-spawning HNMs are multiple times easier than these popped ones, something hasn't been figured out yet.

If it was beaten, wouldn't it make logical sense for the linkshell not to tell or post about it? That way they could spam AV for a few weeks, try to cap their members on AV drops and then announce it's killable? If I were in that position it would be what I'd do.

Posting a workable strategy would cause every shell and their mother to go to AV and try to spam it for their own shells. It makes more sense that if it was really killed and done in a way that a lot of shells could kill it, the original killing shell could end up causing themselves to have to wait longer to get their drops due to increased pop item farming and other shells spamming the ??? to pop Love and AV.

the issue of poidh is more complicated that just showing proof, because culturally, forums in Japan are pretty much built on the concept of anonymity and 'equal standing'. Thats part of a reason why you don't ever really see names and character specifics on Japanese forums, or bragging about gear and accomplishments..

I think it'd be a feat that the person would even post a pic of his own character, let alone one showing that he defeated AV. This isn't true of all Japanese players, but it definitely appears to be somewhat of a norm there..

Completely true from my experiences at work too, and they're bad at it (you can always tell). The reason, as I understand it, is they want to avoid looking bad at all costs and are usually out to impress.

Not that this is substantially different than the rest of the world, it just seems to permeate the culture a bit more.

Even if AV spawned with all 2hrs locked very few LSs would be able to defeat it in the time allowed, let alone survive through meteors (although weaker versions), and bracelets.
