I agree with you, to a degree. There are some common sense guidelines, like make it interesting, make it relatable, make it intelligible (nobody likes senseless "creative" gibberish), and that sort of thing. If the main thing you've got to say about someone's opening line is YOUR GRAMMAR IS SHOWING, then maybe you need to re-evaluate your writing cred. Since we don't actually have the rest of the story to base an opinion on, we really have no way of knowing whether or not the grammar is relative to the style of storytelling. I'm not the only one who just read it as someone's slightly irregular/imperfect inner dialogue.

I also find it amusing that Elphaba probably took the time out of her day to be a tattletale, and here's Benjamin Gowar with 985 votes. He must be Italian; explains the big family vote amirite?

Yeah, those who asked about it suck at detecting sarcasm today. First two are alluding to elphaba's comments, third bolded part should have given it away for sure. Who talks like that in a serious context?

Also, who knows, you might have persuaded some votes for you if you'd told them to vote for semen in the ass. You never know with 4ch, sometimes they're your personal army on command (I guess depending on the ratio of newfags to oldfags) and sometimes they vote the opposite of what you want just to fucking spite you. You've pretty clearly lost at this point anyway; you should get them involved just to put some spice in the competition.
