Today I observed some new player in Jeuno selling hundreds and hundreds of ninja tools to the NPC in the Jeunoan tavern. He popped over 300 toolbags of sairui-ran till I had to leave for nyzul.

I'd be quite amused if this is a new secret trick or some kind of item duping.

Also, the person did not need to open the door to leave the room, he just went straight through the wall.

Hmmm.... Well tbh not a huge AH markup on my server over NPC price (20%) but still that's some cheap elm logs to want to do it on that big of scale.

Slightly different note, but the RMT mule infestation in Bastok Mines has returned on my server, and is now worse than ever. I saw at least 20 mules running between MH and the starter armor merchant last night on my way through, and I was only in zone for about 10-15min. Theory seems to be that they are selling wildgrass seeds to NPC in extreme bulk, there must be a lot of them to be making a serious profit from it.

This does definitely seem odd. If he found a way to craft it and sell for profit to npc, he wouldnt have wasted money on making toolbags, hed just synth and sell. Also, seeing as the npc sell back price is 25gil/ea, you would have to buy stacks of toolbags for less than 29,700 gil before you can make profit on the tools. Seeing as Sairui-Ran is ~40k/stack of toolbags on Hades, this seems very improbable.

Did you report to GM? He must be using some kind of movement hack to walk through the door.

Since people have been randomly banned for selling large amounts of anything to NPC's, I would be interested if anything happens or it continues. I do this occasionally, but I've never done it on this big of scale because the margin is usually too low to waste my time. It also leads directly to inflation instead of taking other people's gil, and that makes my stomach feel funny.

The Bastok Mine RMT thing is on Carbuncle to now also. I didn't see a large cluster of them but there were a bunch of scarmbled up names with the same Hume M model (The long haired blonde one) going back and forth to the galka NPC.

Maybe they are trying to artificially create lots and lots of *new* gil on the servers? I can think of better ways to do it than wasting ninja tools, but RMT are hardly known for their intelligence.

For the past several months, the only apparent RMT activity I've seen is selling items to the Bastok Mines NPC. However just recently I noticed much much more new groups of suspicious players with anon names leveling up and congregating in Bastok mines. Not sure why the shift in focus now.

Highest gil reward in Gusty is 330. If they do one an hour, that's 332640 gil a week for a full party.

I don't know, that seems a little low, but not outside the realm of possiblity I guess.

Anyone notice an increase this weekend on brogame spam? Got 4 already, 3 within one hour and its almost like if I forget to put my /away on I get one immediately after logging in, even when muling. It is not like my char name begins with A either.

For a week or so the other company with pc in the name was doing them, then all of the sudden bro is back again. Maybe the memorial day weekend or something.
