Using this thread as a launching point to make a point I know a lot of people are thinking (Looking at you, late night BG TF2 games.)

BG has slowly slipped into massive fail as of late. Old BG, back when there were 3 forums, anything went. Obviously BG has grown beyond the first 3 forums and admins and moderators came with the new forums. Sadly, so has the amount of rampart faggotry.

You're taking this site way to seriously. It's a gaming forum about a 6 year-or-something old game. Take a chillpill. Some post in Advanced won't kill you, or even degrade from the quility of the site. If anything, making these retarded "NO NONADVANCED POST" is going to hurt more than the "spam." And on the note of spam in advanced, we were called out, I don't want to hear it.

Also, if you want to delete spam, do it. As Rocl showed us you are getting paid for the posts made here. I'm sure the people who support this site, by that, I mean people who donate to the forums, ad opt-ins, and obviously help with overall ad revenue would leave due to your douchery. We have nothing to lose here.

Definitely reported it, and as a result the "if you report something in spam that isnt against the rules, you'll get banned" got added. So not only did an ACTUAL rule get made, but it was established that what happened to him wasn't against the rules.

when spam was created, the fundamental rule and reasoning behind it was to keep all of the random crap that flooded the forums OUT of the FFXI and general sections. we had an agreement, and when that agreement gets broken, someone has to step in and kick it back where its supposed to be.
