well, that's even more easy to look at, phpbb3 is a free forum software, it's not nearly as secure as vb in the first place. all that aside, any administrator and even some supermods, basically anyone with admin access to the control panel has full mysql access, anything the forum can grab can be seen by the admins remotely. they have a special applet in the admin cp just for this.

that database can be pulled, saved, and later backed up, this contains the user information of anyone on the forum, and all of their posts.

any admin of any kind of phpbb3/vbulletin software can do this.

I don't think 'spam leaking' is really one of the larger issues at hand with some of the total shit that goes on in the rest of the forums, though I can see you guys are sort of addressing the bullshit that gets posted in Advanced. And really, when you say it's a 'spam leak' it's just a case of someone who regularly posts in spam doing some sort of trolling. If that same person posted the same stupid shit but wasn't a spam regular, I don't think you'd call it 'spam leaking' at all, it'd just be one person being an asshole, I don't think this part of the community should have to worry about the actions of individual posters who happen to post here regularly.

The spam leak was essentially people mass trolling a bunch of threads in advanced, like spam had a raid day and advanced was its target. I had complaints from lots of people and a majority of BG the linkshell about it, even some of the people in BG posting in this thread complained about it. So we cleaned it up and got a little harsher, something Ive had nothing but joyous notes about people being happy with the stricter rules and no tolerance policies.

That's funny, because she used to say completely different things to me when she used to hang out in my IRC channel, and never said anything negative to me, just thanked me for filling her in on stuff. The tone of her last PM to me was very sweet too. Are you suggesting she'd deceive me?
