10 min of showing Ninjas popping out of rocks and blind siding Samurai with blowguns just to be followed by having the Ninja use it head on against the Spartan's shield. I laughed at that.

I was wondering if people would take it personally like the experts were. I think I have my answer.
Aren't the so called experts in the demonstrations just novices or something? I've only seen parts of the Samurai vs Viking episode but I heard the guys they used for the Samurai were just some radio talk-show hosts from Canada or something.
My LS is having wagers on this weeks match up.
Pirate.. v.s Knight.
Watch the underdog(Knight imo) Win again.
How the fuck do you defeat a gun besides using another gun?
"...Surely you'd kill your usual victim - women, unarmed children...a baby..."
Lol
This show owns so hard
I was pissed at the ninja one, first the start of with the spartan in a clearing, walking under some trees, the ninja is in the tree, he comes down stealthly and yells before he strikes so the spartan blocks...
I said to myself, its wrong already, ninja woulda either jumped right behind the guy and slashed him, or used the blowgun with the poison on the UNARMORED back of the spartan. Done.
again the video is theatricized to make it look cooler, thats not what actually happens in the simulations
Who won between Samurai and Viking? Couldn't find the final part to the episode.
samurai won, I woulda been pissed if viking won. I mean to this day there is a form of samurai in japan, vikings no more.
Not sure what you mean by this. Since there are many people to this day which are of viking descent and still practice old cultural & heritage ways of daily life.
Just as those who practice and follow their blood of the samurai line. iirc samurai is 12th century generation & viking 17th/18th?
I wish there was a little more weapon/armor demonstration, and a little less shit-talk and speculation. Otherwise, it seemed like a pretty cool show from the Samurai / Viking episode I saw.
like I said earlier I picked Viking over samurai and have major issues with both the katana test and the arrow test.
The only way Pirate beats Knight this week is if the Pirate gets a handgun. Otherwise Pirate gets trounced HARD. Even if its a one-shot pistol, if the Pirate misses he's done.
I would've been so pissed if Viking had beat Samurai. I've liked all of their competitions but this one was easy for me to guess.
