I plugged my Dreamcast into my 46 inch TV and MvC2 still looked pretty decent. With actual upscaling on PS3/360 this should look even better. Can't want to play some people online.
I always use cammy as my starter, money in the bank.
Meh, I'd be more interested if it was X-Men: Children of the Atom, X-Men vs Street Fighter, Marvel Superheroes vs Street Fighter or the first Marvel vs Capcom. MVC2 took too huge of a blow to what made the series' so good just for a huge character select screen. At this point MUGEN is more technical and that's saying a lot.
I'm very happy about this. I came close to buying the PS2 version multiple times but I couldn't justify ponying up eighty bucks to buy it. I grew up on Capcom fighters and I loved every entry into the series. My only complaint was that Adon never got much attention in the other entries into the series.
Played this ALL summer when I was a going into my sophmore year of high school. One of the only good games on the Dreamcast. Hoping it turns out well.
Saves trouble of bringing the DC into the living room, and hopefully will look less bad on my HDTV than that version does.
Can't fucking wait.
I WANNA TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE

I WANNA TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE
I WANNA TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE
I WANNA TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE
Thats pretty much the most memorable part of that game besides the infinite combos
Still buying
Those screenies didn't show Magneto/Storm/Sentinel/Cable when that is all that is ever played...
Still a great game though when people use other chars XD
Meh, this is one of those fighters that are better off with the nostalgia factor and just left to memory. Played this the other day actually at a random bar that had it. Went with the old Cammy/Sentinal/Magneto combo and just raped the place. Haven't played in years before this but I realized I can play with the same characters spamming the same moves and rape just about the same.
MvC2 was always nothing more then a battle of attrition between what? 5 maybe 6 characters? Me and my buddies would have more fun when we'd go with stupid shit like 3 Gambits vs 3 Psylockes lol.
Well, to me what makes it great is that it -does- have that huge character roster with otherwise-known characters. Tends to be good fun for people who aren't real big into fighters, or are perhaps more casual to the point that you're not down to just top tier.
My friend n' I that play fighters together tend to just use random select more often than not, but we do that with most games.
