Call me a noob (which I'm ashamed to say given I played a fair deal of MvC2 on original Dreamcast & Arcade), but a general MvC2 question: Is it possible just to use your current characters' super when you got lvl2 and up power? There are times where I'd rather not duke my entire team on someone who's @ 25% HP.

Edit - To answer question, yes of course you can. Just do QFC > Both punches or kicks / whatever the person's buttons/direction is.

Any particular guides floating on the net worth looking at for 'pro' strategies? All I ever faught at the college were button-mashers, and that one fucking asian kid that beat the shit out of everyone on all of the Vs. machines available.
(which was pretty much MvC1/2, CvS2, XvSF, SF3:1st/2nd/3S. Why they had all 3 SF3s there? I don't know, I only bothered with 3S of the group)

You should have played 2nd Impact. If I could find one for sell I think I'd buy it. There are a ton of guides at shoryuken.com, but you gotta understand taking up pro strats in Marvel isn't like pro strats in other games like SF4. You are going to look at the button sequence and say "WTF!?" lol.

To do most of the "infinites" or resets you have to learn the "Slide" technique. Most players slide their middle fingers across the controller from top to bottom. I'm sure there are some youtube vids of how to do it.

Biggest thing about this game,lots of MSP, Lots of Sent/Storm, lots of Cable players (ahvb 3x here, you can have this) with Anti-air assist (namely Cyclops), Storm with capt.commando assist is nice too Careful of Ironman, you'll eat an infinite, and watch the madness with Strider and Doctor Doom Anti-air assist. TOTAL LOCKDOWN!!!
