    Microsoft Points expire?

    So I got a card for 1400 Microsoft points. On the back, it says "These points must be redeemed by 06/30/2009".

    So, even if I activate these points onto my xbox live account, they will disappear on July 1st? I am waiting till summer / fall to use these points.
    Can I contact MS or something, to get an extension on the due date?

    It means you have to use the card by then, thats all.

    No, it's the same reason pretty much anything like this has an expiration. It's to cover their ass in case you somehow buy one of these in the future when XBL points are no longer accepted, or Xbox Live has evolved into something else.
