To byte, I read it and ignored it. Windower is not undetectable, its just undetectable server side. And thats not even entirely true, there are certain tendencies that aren't necessarily dead giveaways, but if theyre consistent you can guess who uses windower and who doesn't.

Also it might make work for se, but if you break windower enough, the developers will stop wanting to fix it. It might get patched n times, but after n+1 i'm sure the guys in charge will have enough.

Discussions like this are way old. Been shot down before.

Not everyone should have a fair chance. People have been doing this for years, consistently, should claim more than people who decide to show up because the system is fair now. Whether or not they cleared everyone else out by legit means or not, linkshells who put the time in should be getting kings.

I don't want some random scrub linkshell to decide that they can have a fair shot and get a ridill that i've been camping for my friends for a year and a half. After taking 65 minutes and nearly wiping to wings 4 times.

Things like this will draw so many people to do, most of them without the dedication to learn how to fight these monsters, lag the zones, and generally give gear to slob players.

There are ways to increase your claiming without bots, if you're not even willing to look into that and try and do an event as it has stood for years, you don't deserve to win the claim on a completely lottery claimed mob. Bots or not it invalidates years that people have dedicated in da/vos/bd.

Go out there and try and claim, bots or not and I'll give you credit, you at least tried to pay attention. Slobs who waste what they win from the lottery are still slobs. They might have something nice from winning the lottery, that doesn't make them better.

For all those that don't understand, no one is saying that gear should be distributed equally. Instead, they are saying that everyone should have an equal chance to claim. Botting obviously destroys that equal chance through cheating.

But at least the guy tried, and in the case of mee deegi he actively had to try and claim it, didn't just walk into zone and get free mob. You stopped paying attention and didnt claim. Thats your fault.


And ring, if 5 lses claim a mob the same number of times, they all have a equal chance of getting a drop. percents are still percents whether you take them out of 100, or 20. Drop rates are still equal, unless you count the number of times a linkshell has been in zone and award them higher drop rates for that.

Exactly the point, if you give everyone an equal chance to claim, whether theyre skilled at killing FF or not, they pay attention at ff window or not, everyone has equal chance at the mob. I'm saying simply work in should equal work out. I don't expect to claim FF if i fall asleep at window.

Bots break the game. A solution to the problem isn't making it so the game doesn't work as initially designed. Break the bots, not the game.

Here's a solution that makes more sense to me. Have se set up a website and have all linkshells that want a chance at a ridill to register on that website. The assign a random order to all the linkshells and give them a one day where they have the mob alone to themselves, and mark who gets the mob each day on the calendar. At least this way I don't have to stand in zone and watch the people who didn't try to even spam claim still win the mob.
