My cat's a year old, we took her from my grandmother once she moved into a retirement community and couldn't keep it. It's the first pet in my house since the dog I had that died 6 years ago.

I still prefer dogs, this cat is a bitch.

My brother wanted to name the 2 we originally got (brother and sister), Zig and Zag, after these. He was like 10 at the time and those are far more awesome names than Shadow.
