RDM can kite both, Aro's guide is focused on BST kiting. (Hi Aro). Keep big one grav'd and little one bound, keep stoneskin on or try to. Not really too hard to kite both, just need to not be a moron.

Stew is correct (hi stew). The only difference is that RDM has a slightly higher risk of dieing, simply because one unlucky resist could be messy. However if you keep your distance you'll be fine, because they stop to cast spells often (mind you those spells include petrifyga and bindga). But for sure very doable.

2. Get two other blm 40 with Stonega II
3. Walk into range of the eyes, turn around
4. Spam Stonega II > Thundaga > Blizzaga repeat
5. ???
6. Profit

I've done it before as NIN, RDM, and 37 NIN because the RDM we took was a rl friend who sucked at kiting 2 eyes. The 37 NIN just held one and kept shadows up, I ended up killing his eye after mine was dead. Time was never an issue.

over 10k/hr is extremely beyond easy at 37 now, 15-20k is very possible

It's easy at Yhoator too. Ronfaure's basically an upgraded Jungles but with mobs that hit a bit harder.

in yhoat the best we were able to do was ~12k with 75rdm pl + 5dd + brd

in ronafure from 37-40 we peaked around 20k/hr pace for about 20 minutes getting chain 8ish at 39/40, with pld drg drg sam rdm brd + crappy 69 blm pl

at one point our sync left and we had pld sam war rdm brd, 5 people with no pl, synced to 42, I ran out of shihei (as the bard) at like chain 2 and we decided to end when chain ended, we got chain 31 before the pulls were too far for me to survive with no shihei and get back in time


it's pretty ridiculous if you have a good brd, yhoat is the same way but the potential isn't quite as high just cuz in order to keep the pulls up you have to be doing lizards which limits your chaining past 5, or else be 32ish to keep chains through lizards, in which case the mandies can be as low as like 90 exp even in a big chain

i can't really recommend the hit > turn > hit method. I wiped an orb because of some guy who insisted on doing this. It works very well but you're effed if you get hit with eye. I always go /Rdm because of the fast cast and cures. Being able to level sync an Ice Staff and Bugard Strap+1 is awesome also because that's even more Int available.

With a RDM PL and COR BRD plus 4 good melee I've topped 24k/hour in Yhoator. Sadly you can't keep up with that for too long, as you need to replace the syncee. But you basically just kill everything. Lizards are squishy too if you're buffed with Hunter's/Minuet/Madrigal/Chaos (Hunter's becomes Corsair's at 31 or so).
