I believe in evolution simply because of genetic diversity. There are homologous structures that are crazily similar amongst all animals and it's simply too much of a coincidence to believe otherwise.

However, going along with my personal spiritual beliefs, I do believe life was created in some fashion and that life is not totally random... at some point however bacteria formed and evolved into organisms existing today (literally millions of species) which is just amazing.

Evolution is happening today. Look at humans. We've evolved from a society of hunters, gatherers, and laborers, into a society of fat, lazy slobs who want to sit around, kill other organisms co-existing, and do nothing all day while worshipping a worthless piece of paper that has no ecological meaning.

Yay! It feels so great to have this money that will buy me security once the ecosystem fails and we all die anyway! Survival of the fittest!
